Whether you're a quarter Scandinavian, interested in Norse or regional history, or even just into the show Vikings, the Hjemkomst is definitely a worthwhile endeavor. We enjoyed the Viking ship and video. The video is a half an hr and worth your time. The video gives a lot more insight into creating the ship, getting it ready for sailing and the voyage. We also enjoyed the Stave church. I recommend...More

We didn't have a lot of time to spend here, but really enjoyed the details. The church and the viking ship are each magnificent. Do take the time to view the photo gallery in the lower level of the museum.

The museum name maybe tricky to say, but everything else is great. It’s $10 per adult to enter and there is ample free parking. The staff were friendly. After you pass the gift shop, the first thing you see is the huge replica Viking boat...More
