Just moved to the area in August and live near a trail at the NE end. It's a gem and we haven't explored 1/2 of it (yet). I like to walk along the creek into town, which is the quickest route. It's well maintained and...More

Nice paved and unpacked paths for jogging or hiking. Also, a nice place to walk to watch the autumn leaves.

We walked the long upper trail and were pleasantly delighted. We soaked in the native prairie flowers and grasses. We also saw two eagles soaring. Lots of beautiful landscapes to take in. Felt like we were in a painting.

The Arboretum, both upper and lower, provide peaceful walks even though you are within an urban area. Some have remarked that they found the paths confusing. Before we leave our starting point we look up and find a tall landmark which we can use to...More

What a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature! It has everything...a river running through it, woodlands, prairie, hills and dale. It's a perfect spot to reflect and unwind and get a little exercise
