The park is beautiful lots of trees. I am from Florida so the landscape and low to no humidity was wonderful. The well renowned water tasted just like iron. Which makes sense that it would "heal" travelers of yester year as they lacked the essential vitamin- iron in their bodies. At least I can say I tried it...right... anyway it... More

Decent park, walking trails through wooded areas, many trees that create beautiful scenery in the fall. Good places to take pictures.

They have great trails here. That's the best part. My kids likes the dam. The playground is a little weird and somewhat dangerous for little kids. The spring water tastes like rust and comes out as a yellow color. We were a little hesitant about drinking it. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stop again.

Perhaps the most natural park in the Owatonna park system, Mineral Springs Park features an old dam,a statue of Princess Owatonna (a local legend), horseshoe pits, a pavilion, walking trails, a 9-hole disc golf course, picnic area, restrooms, and a children's' playground. Of course, there is a spring that empties into the creek where locals often come to fill up... More

Mineral Springs Park is a jewel in the crown of Owatonna. It is hard to find graduation pictures that do not include some taken in this scenic park. A wonderful updated playground, great pavilion, horse shoes, river running through it...great for craw dad catching and cooling off in the summer

This park has it all. Lots of shade, very nice pavilion, beautiful river flowing through it, horseshoes, Frisbee golf, and playground. And there's even a fountain you can get some cold spring fed water to drink.

One of the finest amidst Owatonna's elaborate park system which establishes this community as having a very high park/resident ratio. Starting with a life-sized statue of Princess Owatonna and a historical plaque presenting a brief background of the Native American designation of a sacred grounds due to the "healing" mineral waters that flowed naturally and freely from the ground and... This park is wonderful every season of the year. Make sure you find the waterfall. The playground is great for all ages. Grill are placed so you can have your own little picnic. Bring the marshmallow and have a fire on a cool evening.

This is a lovely park with playground area, picnic pavillion, bathrooms and frizbee golf course. Right now there is a portion of the street in the park that is being work on and that may cause some difficulties getting around the park.
