This is my third time to the Ordway, 100th if I could afford it, and always wonderful performances of all varieties. This one was Stomp...fantastic. I don't know the seating here as well as Orchestra Hall yet the center balcony seats are quite far away. Due to a ticketing error we were research on the main floor near the front.... More

Watched Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra performance of Mozart and Schubert. This is a great venue for classical music. We made it an evening starting with dinner at the Saint Paul Grill. Then a short walk across the park to the Ordway. This is a beautiful theatre with wonderful acoustics. I highly recommend see a concert or show here.

I had never been to the Ordway, but envisioned a lovely restored older theatre like so many cities have. What I encountered was a seemingly new performing arts center that hosts Broadway shows, The Minnesota Opera and other cultural performances. We came to see Paint Your Wagon, an older production, but one whose message is still timely. I remember the... More

This was a fantastic theater experience. We saw "Paint Your Wagon". At the time I decided to go as it was for family, even though I thought I wouldn't care for the music.. Wow...wonderful production, first class singers, great stage setting. There is also plenty of parking within a couple blocks...parking is often a problem in many of Minneapolis theaters.... More

We attended the afternoon performance of Paint Your Wagon at the Ordway. Even though we live in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, we do not gonto St.Paul very often for entertainment. We parked in a ramp right next to the theater. Event parking cost $10. It was an easy elevator ride and short walk to the theater. We weren't exactly... More

We traveled here from Milwaukee, WI to see a particular show. I hadn't been here in over 20 years and was pleased to see this theater really is a big and beautiful as I remembered. It was very easy to get to as we stayed in downtown St. Paul. Even if you're driving into downtown, there are plenty of parking... More

I believe the Ordway Ctr is one of the if not the top locations for the performing arts in the US. Sight lines are great, not a bad seat in the house, acoustics are tremendous - whether it is a play or music. The diversity offered in their programming is marvelous - especially enjoy the "Song Book" series they present... More

Try as I might, I could not find a listing for the St Paul Chamber Orchestra so I thought that I would use the Ordway instead. This building has space for all kinds of entertainment; it has a beautifully decorated interior with room for all kinds of musical venues. The space exclusively for the Chamber Orchestra has recently opened and... More

This was my first time to the Ordway, however, a long time theater enthusiast of the Minneapolis Hennepin Theater Trust group (Orpheum, New Century Theater, etc...). Because I always had season tickets to many of the Minneapolis theaters, I had never taken advantage of a viewing at the Ordway. Seeing, "Janis Joplin" there was such a treat! First of all,... More
