The Gateway Trail stretches from St. Paul to Stillwater, or Norrell Ave. It provides shade under a canopy of trees, and has horse trails as well. It is a nice and long path.

My daughter and I biked this trail a couple of weeks ago so we could connect to Brown’s Creek Trail to head into Stillwater. The tail itself is beautiful but the first few miles of the trail as we headed east we’re fairly bumpy where...More

I usually access this trail by biking up from Stillwater and into the northern part of the Cities. Really nice and well-maintained. Thankful this bike trail exists in the Metro!

One of the best bike trails in the Twin Cities. Head out to Stillwater, or take a smaller round trip - not too hilly and the scenery is amazing.!

If you like to get outdoors and just walk, jog or bike, the Gateway Trail is an excellent choice for these activities! Being an old railway line that's been paved over, it is relatively level. I've used this trail numerous times and always enjoy the...More
