This is a structured circular walk in a large wood. Just remember not to stray off the circular walk as the enjoyment police will track you down and warn you off. These over officious people play god when polite reminder will do. The woods get busy now because of the large new estates and the car parking is limited.

I live near by and often walk from hawkinge into reinden wood. It basically goes in a big circle around the woods, brilliant place if you have a dog too. There are ww2 history bits if you branch off and have a look. Lots of beautiful scenery, there is also a car park and can actually get quite busy in... More

Great place to walk with dogs and kids plenty of exploring for everyone. Can't wait for the nicer weather for a bike ride and picnic there. Great car park off the main road which is always a bonus with excited dogs and kids

2.2 miles around the designated footpath. Parking for about 12 vehicles on free car park. Note this is MOD land and visitors are required to keep to the designated footpaths. If you branch office these you will find ww2 bunkers. A very pretty walk even in the winter.

Reinden Wood is popular with dog walkers but it's large enough for that not to bother you. The heart of the woodland itself has a circular path of about 3 miles, with quite a few information plaques telling you about the trees planted there, the natural vegetation and the WW2 history. It's still used as an MOD training area. In... More

This is a cracking woodland area with a fantastic circular walk around of approx. 3 miles. This is a well established woodland, with lots of large trees, loved by dog walkers and children. Plenty of room for cyclists and Horses being ridden too. The Ministry of defence use part of this wood for training exercises, so don't be put off... More

Really scenic, peaceful and lovely place to take the family and doggies. Parts of the woods are shut for MOD but as long as you stick to the public paths you'll see signs that take you on a lovely route around the woodland. Make sure you take wellies if there has been a spout of rain!

Nice and quiet woodland to walk through both summer and winter, also very nice for family walks or for dog walkers.

came here for a walk and absolutely loved it. Beautiful peaceful wood, broad path very well signposted and with interesting information boards telling you about the trees and wildlife you can find here. Car park. Great to get away from it all.
