Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For ancient temple, Sojiwan is quite big and tall. I went to this temple 2 times this month with different clients from Jakarta and Singapore.

The reliefs teach us about morality through fabel. You need someone who understood buddhist story so that your trip will be meaningfull.

if you have hobby to travel on archeological spots finding ancient old heritage, you should go to jogjakarta and try to visit some temple complex stretched all over area..At least more than 50 temples could be visited with various form and stories behind..

temple Sojiwan form is grace since it shows the harmony among hindu and budhist temple.. there is a stupa located in front of the hindu bigger temple means both of religions seems to live in harmony at past..the old manuscript says that the temple is a form of devotion comes from the hindu's king who is adoring his budhist grand mother..

If you happen to be in Yogyakarta and wonder what other temples to visit besides the crowd and famous Prambanan, I'd recommend you to visit Sojiwan Temple. Other than the temple itself, it has nice park to open your picnic basket and a museum of temple's architecture.
The temple is kinda hidden but still easy to find. Just use Google Maps or Waze, or ask people around. You can park your bike in a house across the temple and pay 2K IDR. To go to the temple itself is free.

Isolated from others, this temple is very large and can be visited quickly in a well-kept park. It has a pointed roof with some bells.
