Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I won’t be writing a long review as really there isn’t much to say: such a huge level of disappointment.

Ticket is expensive, €12, and for that price I expected to be given the chance to properly see the palace.

Only a handful of rooms are open, the garden is closed (maybe because of Covid), for an overall visit that doesn’t last more than 20 mins or so.

If you are in Piedmont for a few days only, do yourself a favour and visit something else.

P.s. I went to visit it with a local, who also was extremely disappointed by the experience.

A jewel in the eyes, not very far from the center of Turin, this building, which is small and has a lot to tell, is worth seeing. Beautiful painted rooms and corridors, passages secreted from servants who were supposed to be present but never seen. The garden is a little less well-kept, even the ancient shutters are left to deteriorate over time. However, a visit not to be missed!

Located in Nichelino, a few minutes (10 km) from Turin, this wonderful, eighteenth-century hunting lodge confirms once again the extraordinary skill of the architect Juvarra who worked for several years as architect of the Savoy family. the route is very clear and masterfully illustrated by downloading the site's app. The house is an extremely elegant residence with attention to every detail. The central hall is dazzlingly beautiful. The furnishings decorated by talented cabinetmakers are also very beautiful. Very interesting to listen to the preparation for the deer hunting ceremony (also illustrated by splendid paintings) in which all the aristocracy participated and was therefore an excellent opportunity for public relations.

My eyes still shine at the mere memory of the magnificent central hall, an authentic jewel that alone is worth the entire price of the ticket.
Once again we are faced with a project by the famous architect Juvarra.
The visit itself, going from room to room, all well preserved and with period furnishings, passes rather quickly.
The decorations on some of the ceilings are truly enchanting.

A short distance from Turin, there is this small but sumptuous Savoy residence which houses fine furniture and rich decorations. I recommend visiting in the summer so you can also appreciate the park. The audio guide is available for free: just download the relevant App.

10km from the center of Turin is this structure of great value that is really worth visiting.
Point in favor, in addition of course to the beautiful environments superbly restored, the free App downloadable at the entrance that is really very usable and well structured. The internal route is easy and intuitive, you do not risk getting lost without understanding exactly where you are.
Recommended.

The building is beautiful and well kept. Surely the ticket price is influenced by the high costs of care and maintenance, but we only visited one floor of a wing and nothing of the park... I would have liked to visit other rooms or a small part of the garden.

I was enchanted by this place, super friendly staff and a wonder for the eyes and soul. I really enjoyed being able to come in with my little dog (very much appreciated) and visit all the rooms. I would suggest putting up a sign for parking, when you arrive it's not very clear where you can leave your car.

The building has some nice surroundings. Few actually. But the problem is that the whole park, much advertised and mentioned, is closed! Many people go there mainly for the park not for four portraits of the Savoys. Furthermore, on the official website it is NOT indicated that the park is closed. Or at least I haven't seen it. The lack of correct and clearly visible information is very serious for me

The place is very nice and the large avenue, which opens the courtyard of the villa, very suggestive. You can take the guided tour or, if you prefer, you can download the audio guide via the app and listen to it with headphones. The interior villa is well kept and imposing. Consigliata!!
