We loved our small stay in Gulfport, MS and went to the visitor center to get some ideas on what to do and where to go. The people were very friendly and we got some information on going to the pier and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful weather to spend the day in Gulfport, visiting small shops, checking out the Gulfport Tent Show of individual local artists and jewelry, walking the beach and sitting on the pier to enjoy the scenery. We spent a lot of time in surprise watching the Parrott’s in the surrounding trees.

I came here during the website's stated hours. No one was around. I came back another day, picked up some literature, and asked some basic questions about public transit in the area, having noticed "city buses" going down Beach Blvd. and other areas. The lady manning the center had no knowledge of them, at all. I felt like it was basically open to "sell" packages to rent the facility for meetings, weddings, and such. I'd highly recommend the Biloxi Visitor's Center. They have trained, knowledgeable staff and a wealth of information at your disposal. A very nice gift shop, as well.

Was driving past and decided to stop by. Location is a little odd - visitor centers are usually where there's a lot of foot traffic, but this one is a little drive from just about everything. Not surprisingly, it was empty except for the sole guide on duty. They have the usual maps and brochures, and if you have a specific question, they can possibly answer it, although we tossed out one and they couldn't. Suspect most people would get as much information if not more from a few quick searches on the internet.
