My son and I spent a day and a half and Oxford touring the campus. The only reason I rated at a 4 and not a 5 is because we were on our own. He's been accepted to school and we wanted to spend an extra couple days they're just getting a feel for the town and the surrounding areas more than he got during the campus tour. Very Charming campus. If you close your eyes and you picture a small town College this is what you would see. Very compact very close to the downtown Square seemingly you can walk everywhere. About half the size of some of the bigger SEC schools student wise butt feels plenty big. I think the class size is considerably smaller then some of the larger universities which just makes it that much more attractive to me as a parent. Great facilities seems to be a lot of construction and a lot of new things being built. Plus you have the town of Oxford.

We came to do a campus tour and it did not disappoint. Very pretty campus and more walkable then I expected for a "large" SEC school.

My daughter chose this university as her number one choice when she was still in grade school. At the time it was based on pictures she saw. When it came time to tour colleges, and we toured several, Ole Miss did not disappoint. The campus is absolutely stunning! Brimming with southern charm. My daughter fell in love with this school, as did we. Although far away from her home in Boston, our daughter could not imagine herself at another school. The city of Oxford is charming as well, yet numerous amenities are still at your fingertips.

This was a disappointing stay from the moment we checked in. The front desk staff was not friendly during check in or check out. The room was average. The daily breakfast was chaotic and unsatisfying. Both days we went down for breakfast at 9:00 and the hot food was gone. We waited at least 10-15 minutes both mornings for the staff to replenish items. When they did bring more food it was sporadic and some items were never replaced. There was never a friendly greeting extended from ANY staff member. There were also no obvious COVID precautions taken in the breakfast area. Guests helped themselves to the available food without restrictions or barriers. This is not a hotel I would recommend spending money on.

Have to lay a background for this one. My wife and I attended the Ladies Basketbal HS Championships at the Pavalion on the Ole Miss campus. Parking is a nightmare but once you get inside you will love it if you are a sensory sort of person. I mean if lights, colored screens, lots of video advertising, lasers, spotlights, very DEEP bass, and loud music if your thing; THIS is Heaven! I liked the stats at my ready on the multitude of displays. We were able to not only see all the action but put strategy of the coaches together based on the immediate information. This was the BEST. You get the chance, GO HERE!!
