This is a wonderful facility that showcases crafts of local artists. There are samples of pottery, jewelry, wood carvings, scarves, quilts, and much more. We were told that they have contributions from 400 juried artists so there is something for everyone to see and buy. They have classes in several art venues.

We had been wanting to visit this place, but never had the time. We showed up on a Saturday and toured the gift shop. I think every meduium was represented from the South.

Beautiful, high quality crafts. We spent quite a while here and bought some things. The staff took us out to the pottery studio and meet the potter working there. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend making a stop here. It will soon be accessible from the Natchez Trace Parkway.

This modernistic building sells arts and crafts articles made by Mississippi craftsmen. The quality of the work is excellent and they are pleasantly displayed. This is not a cheap tourist shop. The items are high quality and expensive. We tried to access this craft center directly from the Natchez Trace. It is possible, but there are no signs to help... More

This craft center was a nice stop on our drive down the Natchez Trace Parkway. It was a Sunday, so a lot of the artists weren't there, but it is set up in such a way that artists can be there working on their crafts and visitors can watch and interact with the artists. This day, we went and looked... More

If you are looking for hand-crafted gifts made by southern artists, this place has what you want. It is even open on Sundays. As a bonus, artists are often working the counter and -- at least in our experience -- happily talked about their craft.

We love going to the Mississippi Craft Center to see what pieces are being displayed by Mississippi artists. So many talented artists. We especially love when artisans are giving demonstrations.

This is a great place to look for one of a kind items. Craftsman bring their wears to sell here, so you won't see some of these things anywhere else. Great selection from multiple craftsmen. Some items are a bit pricey but some are a great bargain. The only drawback is the short hours.

Go to the Mississippi Craft Center to see what can be made by talented Southern people. Wonderful selection of truly unique things from pottery, wood, textiles, iron, jewelry, clothing, paintings. Just about everything. A great place to shop for that special something.

The Center contains some great works by Mississippi artists, and if customer service were strengthened it could be a very good stop for travelers. There was major construction going on along the entrance drive that made it look like the facility was not open. We drove by and then saw parked cars in a lot on the site and turned... More
