I stayed in Cabin 10a. The cabin's carpet smelled so strongly of stale mildew I could hardly stay in the room. I tried everything to cover the smell but it was too overwhelming. The bathroom shower was covered with mold and rotted wood. These cabins should be totally gutted and re-modeled.I am no clean nut by any means. I understand... More

We stayed at this campground for a month. This is the third year we have stayed here for a month in the spring. It is ok in the fact they have a lot of full hook up sites, but the first week we were there the fish cleaning station wasn't working, although they did get it fixed sooner than we... More

We stayed in cabin 5 and although it was very clean, it looked like we were stepping into the 1070's! We took a soft foam mattress and that helped, but the furniture and beds were very old.

and encourage folks to visit and take use of this wonderful resource. That being said over the years we have stayed at eight of Mississippi's state parks and they have gotten progressively worse. I understand budget cuts but I get the feeling that folks at Kyle have pretty much given up trying. This is our third experience at this particular... More

A friend of my drive his RV up and I met him here. We were playing a couple days of golf in the area and this was a convenient spot. It was a typical RV park with everyone on top of each other. With 4 of us staying in the RV it was more convenient to shower, etc at the... More

Bare bones cabins are clean, but don't expect anything extra. The bedroom has two double beds, the kitchen is adequate but sparse, and the bathroom only has a shower (which is fine with us!). Bring paper products and soap with you.

IF Hunting Charles Ray Nix WMA, this is a great place to stay, and you can bow hunt around the park. Cabin on the lake and at night you can watch all the deer around the cabin and a great looking course to golf. Discount here with your hunting license.

Memorial Day weekend. The bathrooms were hot and nasty. The shower had no ventilation so it was at least 90 in there. Mold on the ceiling. Water quit working for a day. Staff could care less about it. Won't ever be back.

We were passing through Oxford and stayed here for the night. We found the campground very scenic and the lake it surrounds very beautiful. The bathroom facilities were also very nice and the hot water had good water pressure. We will certainly try to stay here again next time we passed through.

my family always camp at least once a year here. The park offers nice quite park bathrooms and showers. so if you are coming through the area and need a overnight stop this is the place.
