Been coming here since I was 14 now I am retired here and live here !!! Been most places & this is the best beach ever. You can drive on beach & stay all day. Bring the BBQ!
Beautiful crystal clear waters with a nice gentle wave most time-make sure you're there before 9am as someone starts charging to take your cars onto the sand.. Before 9am though it's full of horses. A great place to spend all day with the kids.
After dinner we walked here. It was pretty chilly for the time of year. You go down with stairs so you don't interupt the breathing birds. Seen no trash on the beach

Cars are permitted on this beach which is handy for carting things however need to watch children crossing to the water. Safe for swimming as it is very flat and usually not much surf.
