Compared to the old pool this is very nice with a slide and diving board. My only disappointment is that it was too crowded for me to do lap swimming, which is offered for only two hours per week!

The pool is rather small, there is not deep pit to swim in, only a small area that is 4ft at the most. Has an excellent slide and one diving board. The staff is friendly, and the music is good. This is best for young children, no bad for the whole family, but a little small.

They sold the community on a great new aquatic center and we ended up with a real bait and switch. The pool is tiny and on a really hot day the pool gets so crowded that you can hardly move and the water isn't even cool and refreshing, it's warm from so many bodies in the water and the very first year the pool was in operation the bottom of the pool plaster started flaking up so you would get these little cuts on your toes so just general shoddy workmanship.

We were simply amazed by the aquatic center and adjacent Memorial Park in Bethany. The pool opened in 2011, but looks brand new today. There is a toddler area, deep area, diving board (safe at 12' deep), and water slide. Lifeguards were attentive and professional. A really unexpected gem. Public Swim 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday thru Thursday Friday 11 am to 8 pm Saturday 11 am to 7 pm Sunday 1 pm to 7 pm Daily Pass $4 (2 and under free with paid adult admission) Senior Daily Pass $3 (65 and older) Family Season Pass $140 (Family of 4, $15 per addition) Individual Season Pass $80 Senior Individual Season Pass $50 Top tips- we were there on a windy day and the kids really felt the wind. They chilled easily and would have enjoyed it all day if the wind had dropped. Bring something to wrap up in if it's windy! Secondly, make time for Memorial Park. Old fashion street lights line the drive, mature shade trees, and birds... I couldn't believe the bird song when we got out of the car! The park has BBQs, 3 modern (plastic) castles/slides, several traditional items (metal castle, roundabout...), covered areas and picnic tables, benches and areas for reflection, a mini 3 way climbing wall, swings, a baseball pitch and batting cages, skateboarding ramps, basketball court, croquette area, a stream for exploring (and fossils in the stream bed to discover). Okay so the toilets were not brilliant, but we didn't care with everything else there was on offer. This is a great place to stop for an hour or more if you are passing through. Do stop and at least walk through the park.
