This winery was a little bit hard to find and we were surprised there were so many people here. We like sweet wine and their sweet wine was wonderful! The prices were good too!

We frequent this winery multiple times of the year and are not usually disappointed in the service or the drinks. On this particular trip with friends we were intrigued by the summer kitchen menu and decided to change our plans up and stay for dinner. We tried both types of sliders (pulled pork and Brie LT), the crostini appetizer and the chocolate ganache dessert. All were awesome!! Delicious, fresh and plated well - not at all what you would expect from a little country winery. Will definitely have to check this out again for dinner before the summer season ends. Hope they consider doing light food like this all the time.

On a late October morning, we took off on a warm Saturday on the Harley. Gliding past the fall trees, on MO Highway 50, we followed the road through it's gentle curves and sloping hills. We came upon a sign for Mount Sterling, wondering what we'd find. After cresting the tall hills, it opened up into a beautiful valley filled with farmlands. There we found this little hidden gem called Wenwood Farm Winery. It's surrounded by hills and a little creek runs through the property, close the the open old barn where we enjoyed our wine, a rich Tawny Port and raw milk cheese. Our host, the owner, was so knowledgeable and passionate about wine. I learned that the color of wine comes from the skin of the grapes. He was very friendly. My husband and I stayed two hours just drinking in the restorative, fresh air and the country atmosphere. We will be back there soon and hope you will put a trip to Wenwood Farm Winery on your list.

A few dirt roads and some Missouri boondocks are the setting for this lovely little hidden gem of a winery! Up and down a few dirt hills and over the next hill at the bottom sets this little white barn/winery. Yes, it may be a bit difficult to get to and find but the wines are Fabulous, the setting divine and the personal attention second to none. One of my favorites on the wine trail! The Seasonal Fall Pumpkin is wonderful, No artificial flavors only natural enhancements to a perfectly seasoned wine.
