With perfect timing we were just in time to take advantage of their Buy 6 get 6 Free wine bottle special. After tasting 5 wines for Free and bottling our own dessert wine, we were feeling quite good carrying our case of wine out. Great customer service but was VERY VERY disappointed when we were told that gratuities accepted through... More

We have visited a number of wineries over the years and this one was nice. Free wine tasting of up to 5 wines. The folks handling the tastings were friendly and really knew their product well. I enjoyed the wines and bought a couple of bottles of the Pink Catawba, which was a delicious sweet wine. However, most of the... More

Like many Southern wineries, wine tasting is fee (unlike most of the Yankee and far West where they charge $5 to $10 for the privilege) but, if you want to taste the premium wines, take the education tour and pay $15 ($12 if bought in advance) and have two hours of fun and really fine wines. You do learn a... More

We visited the winery today and it was great as usual. Ken, who remembered us from our last visit, was very informative, attentive and wonderful! They were running a great special this month.. buy 6 bottles from a selection of 4 wines and get 6 free!!!

My wife and I really do enjoy doing wine tastings as we travel. Years ago, we stopped at several Missouri wineries located west of St. Louis along the Missouri River. One of those was Mount Pleasant in Augusta. We enjoyed those wineries a lot and also found the wines pretty good - not trying to copy California wines but using... More

This was a fun place to stop. All of their wines were displayed along the walls. The employees were inside a circle bar and gave us a list of all the wines they could let us sample. We could pick up to 5. I was thinking they'd give us a tiny little disposable cup, but they placed wine glasses in... More
