The ride is ok. But not memorable. We were lucky enough to get into a vista car. The seating was cramped and uncomfortable. The scenery is ok. There are two tunnels. The route is out and then backwards to the starting point. The scenery was...More

I usually like train rides but this one was just plain boring. Scenery was not all that great (spring or later in the fall might be better). Do not sit on right side of train car, despite what employees tell you. If you want a...More

I took our senior ladies from church. It was a perfect activity with no walking unless they had to use the restroom or go to concession. So much scenery. They absolutely loved it!!

If you are a railway enthusiast you will get way more out of this than we did. The train is great and the staff very friendly. Our joint opinion was that most of the scenic view is blocked by the trees growing next to the...More

I only gave it 3 stars because the train ride was comfortable and smooth. There was nothing to look at though. Trees and more trees. Sometimes rock walls, sometimes nothing at all. I fell asleep. We had four of us and three of us fell...More

Neat old train, smooth comfortable ride. We didn't see any scenery worth mentioning but had some great conversation with the couple we sat with. I should note there are 2 routes, we went south into Arkansas the other goes North, maybe it's scenic. Either way...More

Since it was a super hot day, we decided to relax in air conditioned comfort. The train ride was very relaxing, and the seats were quite comfy. It took about 2 hours, which was just right. The only complaint I have, which is minor, is...More

Loved seeing the vintage train. We were able to sit in the dome car and the view is exceptional. Two tunnels and imaging the train rides of the past was wonderful. The views as you travel are not spectacular just good ole' countryside, trees and...More

The train ride was a nice smooth ride and the distance was just right. Cost was approximately $30.00 reasonable and snacks available. Only thing I would have changed was the annoying music Frank Sinatra style and very loud. Nothing wrong with Frank Sinatra music at...More

Should have read the reviews (which we normally do) before choosing this. The mid-afternoon excursion was crowded (we were passengers 190-191), so we figured this was a going to be a worthwhile experience based on the crowd size. Apparently word of mouth hasn't spread that...More

It really depends on your size. Table would be more comfortable if you find sitting in a regular booth uncomfortable

Yes there are ramps and you can just roll right on. There are stairs going up to the dome, though since it is a bit tight, but I think that is the only "stairs only" place.
