Attended Ffos Las race day yesterday for a birthday celebration, the races were great & betting was a great bit of fun however there was only one very over-priced and very poor trailer which served dry, cold, pre-cooked burgers, chicken goujons & the worst chips ever, along with the cheapest grossest tomato sauce and salt that was so damp it came out in soggy clumps!! The alcohol served at the bar was no better, overpriced and cheap substitutes …. Tasted like medicine!! I had one drink all day as I refused to pay over the odds for a poor quality and frankly vile drink. I wasn’t the only one to feel that way in our party of 40 people. Come on Ffos Las provide quality food and drink and people will spend more!! We have experienced Chester & Ascot and whilst I wasn’t expecting that level I was expecting something edible & drinkable. I for one won’t rush back & that is such a terrific shame as the facility here in West Wales is great and could be so much more. Completely lacks any finesse at all. Wish we had stopped at Mcdonalds on the way & I never wish for a McDonalds!!!

What a wonderful day with friends and family, great organisation, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, we have been a few times now and have loved it every time, from the thrill of the horses thundering by to the comfort of the bar to get drinks and snacks. Gentlemen’s day was special to see everyone dressed up making an outstanding effort, looking lovely. Can’t wait until next time. Well done Ffos Las

Went for a meal and racing to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The meal was a carvery which was well cooked and plenty of choice. The restaurant is situated with an excellent view of the racing, tote office in the restaurant and easy, if quite a walk, access to the on course bookies. The service was very good with waitresses constantly available to deliver drinks. All in all a fine racing experience.

Came to ffos las for birthday celebrations & what a time we had.
This time was quite quiet compared to normal so better views of finish line, less queues at bar etc.
Usual enjoyable day out with some of us winning & some losing.
Really great place for any occasion.

I attended Las Ffos Racecourse in May to see Madness..........what I encountered was indeed MADNESS........having purchased tickets under the false pretences of being an intimate little gig with an audience of only 450......I decided to travel up from Bournemouth to see one of my favourite old school bands........
the lavatories were inadequate for BOTH men and women queues of over 40 minutes at times........the place was filthy.....very expensive and having made my way over to watch the band.......we were unfortunate enough to stand in front of some young lads of which one was so rude I almost spoke to him......gladly I didn't because after about 3 minutes this old guy came between us and was then "threatened' with having his throat cut by this ignorant rude disgusting and obviously very drunk young man .....his friends managed to manhandle him away from about 2cm away from the old man's face and off he went. Two minutes later the uncouth young lad decided he hadn't concluded his intimidation to the man and went after him. A very alarming experience and disgusting experience and left me feeling unsafe within your venue. I know this is not your fault in anyway but maybe your bar staff should monitor how much alcohol they serve to obviously very drunk people.

We always have a great day out at Ffos Las races. Plenty of space, nice facilities and never much of a problem getting a drink or food. The staff all seem quite friendly and theres no problem getting a taxi outside as long as you book it when you get dropped off and arrange where you're going to meet after racing. We also always seem to have a couple of winners here too so that is a bonus. Will return ASAP.

I have attended racecourses at Windsor, Chepstow, Newbury etc and this in my opinion is the worse course.
Complete chaos trying to get into and out of the place, congested areas, lack of facilities.
Women waiting 30 mins to use toilets, beer £5.20 a pint which is dearer than Windsor races (only £4.50 at the Kaiser Chief night last August).
If the race track want to hold these type of nights then they need to build more toilet blocks etc.
Bookmakers were difficult to get to as walkways congested.
Could not hear the commentary when races were on, results didn't seem to come up so no idea who was in runner up places.
We left the madness gig after 7 songs, Suggs sounded stoned or drunk, speaking between songs all the time. Played a few songs then played 4 or 5 awful songs so left, this is not the race course fault.
Overall disappointed and won't be going back.

We were at Ffos Las last Saturday for the racing and the Madness concert, and our experience was mixed.

We had booked a package which included, seating in a marquee,a free drink on arrival, one free bet and a hog roast.
We arrived at 4.30 pm and made our way around the bars etc, chatting to friends and putting a bet on the first race which we watched from the grandstand, after the race we asked several security personnel which marquee we were meant to go to, no one had a clue,we eventually found the correct marquee and found a table with room for the four of us,when we enquired about the food another couple on the table that they had stopped serving at 6pm! It was now 6.20pm.When we went to the food area we were greeted with " where have you been until now" but managed to have a pulled pork roll.

The evening itself was good until we were asked to move tables as we were on the "wrong " table , how did we know when we just entered the marquee and found seats, there was no one to advise that you had seating on a particular table. Using the same bar all evening we were charged different prices on our drinks, even though they were the same each round.

Madness came on stage at 9.30pm and played until 11pm, they were excellent and played all of their hits.
Then the mayhem started ,trying to leave Ffos Las was MADNESS (excuse the pun) busses, cars, Taxis could not get into the car park or leave due to the volume of traffic, one road in and one exit out,we managed to leave the car park by our prebooked taxi at 11.45pm, and there was still busses & taxis trying to get in to pick up guests.

We had a good day overall but the organisation of such events could be a lot better.

We had Madness tickets as a Christmas present. I’m disabled and phoned to see wha5 help is available. Seems unless you are in a wheelchair, there is no help. I was unable to stand owing to surgical complications - I was told to bring a chair but no dedicated space to put it. It turned our to be a hazard as the boards of people descended, some very very drunk. A friend messaged me to say toilets were virtually inaccessible owing to queues and my disability.
In the end we went just for the concert which lasted an hour, also left early as the volume of vehicles looked like a potential problem, i know some people took about an hour just to get out of carpark,
I’m glad I went but disappointed at lack of facilities. I was told by a staff member to hire a wheelchair and just use it for the event but I would never do that.

Where are your disabled facilities. Your staff are Clueless.

There was thousands here for Madness and they were great. There was plenary of choices for food and drinks. The lines were acceptable.

However when will you learn that you just need more toilets. The lines were very long. People need to use toilets and you know this.

It was obvious that there were numerous toilets but they were in the VIP only areas. So whilst racegoers stood I. Line and missed out on races and the main act, the VIP loos were empty.

Staff were disinterested in disabilities if they were not obvious (wheelchair etc). Not all disabilities are obvious.

If you’d just have more toilets the venue could be 1st class.
