Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are avid race goers and horse owner and are trying to get to as many courses as we can, we weren’t expecting much seeing as there weren’t restaurant facilities etc, we got a race day package about £20 for entry, racecard, lovely steak & ale pie & a pint, can’t grumble at that. Not a dressy up meeting and sometimes large queues for drinks, we were drinking champagne and they wouldn’t let me open it myself, bit of a jobsworth behind the bar, so couldn’t give it full stars, but we met some lovely people & a great time was had.

Races and weather were good , we went as they also had a reggae band on and last year we had seen Kaiser Cheifs and it was Brill. This year it was a real disappointment the sound system was bad! All we could hear was bass drowning out the singers etc. We left along with a lot of other people! Shame and a shame for the band.

Fab day out, went to the races yesterday the staff were very friendly, good view of the horse racing from pretty much any where in the grounds. You can see the horses in the paddock before the races which is lovely the areas were clean and tidy, will definitely visit for another day of racing, hopefully with a chance of a winner.

Had a runner here - I dont know where to start. Horrendous place to get to, horrendous O&T facilities, horrendous aesthetic - it rather looks like how you might build a racetrack were you asked to do it as quickly, inexpensively and least likely to leave any lasting positive impression on someone as possible. In all fairness the track itself isn't that bad, and I can quite understand how locals like it given the lack of opportunity for other leisure opportunities in the area, however if you are a seasoned racegoer, I cant recommend you visit for any reason whatsoever. I was at least blessed with free plastic wrapped sandwiches and subsidised bottom shelf alcohol, the complaints from outside about price, service and quality for on track food were quite apparent as I enjoyed my walk to the course - further reinforced by the unfinished victuals being tossed in the bins. I shall not be returning in a hurry.

Enjoyed the racing or what we managed to see of it. Ffos las really need to look at the amount and quality of staff on the bars. Queued an hour to get a drink. Everyone was complaining. Staff were on a go slow and obviously could not cope with the number of customers. More staff and more training needed. Some of them didn't have a clue ...including a supervisor. Queues for toilets were ridiculous too. Don't hold these large events if the facilities can't cope with the number of people.

Attended ladies day for the first time here and sad to say it will be my last. When we arrived there was a large queue snaking around the car park. So it took a little while to get into the venue. Once we were in my partner went to place a bet whilst I went to the bar. It took 50 minutes for me to get served. Unfortunately this was a theme that continued for the rest of the day. The wait for the toilets was the same a minimum of half hour wait. Food again 45 minute wait. If you want to spend the majority of your day standing in queues this is the place for you.
I understand they are a business and they need a good profit, and the more people creates a good atmosphere but they have to have the facilities to cope with the volume of people they are letting through the door.
It's a great venue but they need to address the above issues as the many people I spoke to on the day felt the same way and wernt impressed.

Visited during the jubilee weekend for Race evening and Kaiser Chiefs concert. This was my first visit to a race track for many years and I thoroughly enjoyed it, albeit I didn't manage to back a winner.....
We booked 3 course dinner in the Brides restaurant and had a table throughout the visit. The meal was very good, although the service was lacking and something that should be addressed. The racing was exciting, easy to bet & lose money - but that's half the fun. Other visitors were friendly. The concert was superb and everyone young and old seemed to enjoy themselves. We will be back.

Last visited here in 2019 and the lines to get to the loo or food and drink were at least 20 mins plus. No change in all that time still awful long lines of people everywhere. Toilets not the cleanest and staff clueless about drinks. There was a bigger head on my larger than a 99 ice cream.
One thing that was visible was also drug use and the sale of drugs in the grounds. Which was farcical as we were searched for alcohol and had it confiscated but white powder gets in no problem. Lots of posh younger race goers off their faces with families and children having to put up with their antics and anti social behaviour.

We had a great day in the Easter sunshine. Harrry Potter characters were walking around having photos with little kids. Fairground rides were free and popular. The food outlets offered a wide choice of good quality takeaways. The Firepit was my favourite esp the Chiliwurst with onions and child sauce. Also had the roast pork and apple sauce and stuffing roll, excellent. Family enjoyed burgers and traditional sausage dogs. Beers in Grandstand bar were usual price for these venues and w:de variety of drinks available. Staff were friendly and polite throughout the venue and day. We were there from 11:30 to 16:30 and had a great time. There was also an Eeaster egg hunt for the kids. The venue provided a full and wide range of excellent entertainment throughout the day with something for everyone

We visited on Easter weekend family weekend racing day. And we all enjoyed! Plenty of fair rides and bouncy castles for kids. And they were all free. Tickets cost us just under £40 entry fee for my partner and me. Kids go are free! There was also Easter egg hunt organised for little ones. Magic show and face painting. Plenty of bars and food stalls around site too. I would recommend you taking fold up camping chair or maybe picnic blanket just incase there’s no outside seating available. Because they are limited. But it didn’t bother us. Views were great watching horses go around track
