    Beautiful amphitheatre!
Beautiful facility! Awesome sound. Amenities plentiful; bathroom/porta-potty's, food (normal carnival type/food truck fare) and drinks (can't comment on the price of drinks as we drank the free water available because we ate before going) We were in the area on vacation and decided to take in a Goo Goo Dolls concert. I would plan a vacation on coming back here for another concert. Parking was no issue ... we got in and out with ease!! Thanks for a great time at a great facility. Just a reminder: it is an amphitheatre, so it is uneven/slanted walking surface in the seating area. I did not see handicapped accessibility areas (but I also was not specifically looking for such). The entrance we went to is up an embankment and walk down into the theater.

    Outdoor concert
We attended a concert in this amphitheater. The signage designating the sections and rows was adequate but the numbers were worn off the seats. We took a shuttle from our hotel and glad because the parking lots were awful. Upon exiting the venue signage directing you to the proper areas was non-existent. The road was downhill and gravel and not well lit getting to our shuttle. The traffic was congested and not well organized. Parking areas and traffic control need to be addressed.

Great Music Venue but Ridiculous Rules
We have seen the Doobie Brothers and Alison Krauss & Robert Plant at the Ozarks Amphitheater. The venue and sound system are top notch. However, the myriad rules make for rather an ordeal. At the Doobie Brothers concert, I had to take my purse-sized hair spray out of my purse. For Alison Krauss, I remembered to remove my hair spray, but they told me my purse was too large and I could not carry it in (average sized purse). So my husband took it back to the car. They have a list a mile long of things you can't bring into the venue (apparently vape pens and Marijuana are allowed, because we witnessed people doing both). A bottle of soda and a bottle of water cost $10, and for some unknown reason they remove all caps. There are no cupholders at the seats and the floor is slanted, so you are stuck holding your capless drink the whole concert. The ushers stand and walk around throughout the event, blocking sight lines. I don't understand why they can't be seated at the tops of the aisles. They wear bright shirts and are easily spotted, so let them be seated so as not to stand in the way. Parking is on gravel, but we didn't have a problem getting in or out. All-in-all, we will return to Ozarks Amphitheater because the sound system is fantastic and it is a good music venue. I just think everyone would have a better experience if they would ease up on some of their nonsensical rules.

Good concert venue, but some significant inconveniences.
Overall, a good venue for concerts. Being outdoors, your experience is also dependent on the weather. So be prepared for that. One important tip.......be sure to go to the website and read through the FAQ section. This will provide information necessary to ensure you are not running back to your car because the security checkpoint told you that you had a restricted item with you. At my entry time, I noted a number of folks that fit that category. However, there always will be patrons who have not read through the website and the Amphitheater SHOULD post large signs or placards well outside the security checkpoint listing prohibitive items. I do not recall seeing anything like that there. Once you get through both the checkpoint and ticket scanning, you will not be allowed to exit and re-enter. That sign IS posted at the entry point. So, take time when you park your vehicle to ensure you have everything you need and are taking nothing in that is prohibited. Also, as posted in the previous review, when you purchase a soft drink or water in a plastic bottle, they will immediately take the cap off at the register and keep it. Not sure why they have that policy. This presents a bit of a challenge since there are no cup holders at the seats and the floor slopes significantly preventing you from setting your drink down, plus there is always frequent foot traffic in and out of the rows. So, to prevent spilling the drink, you are left holding it throughout the concert. Very inconvenient. If you have ANY questions regarding allowed or prohibited items, be sure to reach out to them via the phone and email contact info at the end of the FAQ.

A great location for a show and pretty well organized.
Great view from pretty much anywhere in the place. Seats are comfortable and well spaced. Don't have to "sit on top of your neighbor." Good food and drink options though the lines can be long. Parking is free but can back up significantly on local roads on nights of events so suggest to leave a little earlier than you might think to arrive at your desired time. Be cautious of any seats in Section 203 from rows A to Z and seats more than 8 spots from either aisle. The view of stage is interrupted by an equipment hut. They do have a live action viewscreen on the back of the hut, but not the same as live.

    Great venue
Attended the Upchurch concert here on 07/12/24. Excellent venue. Ample and easy to access seating. Very easy to hear the concert taking place. Venue was clean and staff were personable and accessible if needed. The only downside to this venue was the ability to quickly exit the parking areas following the event. Also make sure you strictly adhere to the items allowed within the venue. My wife had a 12"x12" bag, which is the max allowed. However, because it was a "backpack" style of bag, it was not permitted in. She had to cut the straps off of it before they allowed it. Other attendees, inside the venue, were observed with backpacks, so consistency is lackluster. We would look forward to possibly seeing another concert here in the future.

We attended our first and most likely last Ozarks Amphitheater show this past weekend. We understood that this was a family friendly venue and we were greatly disappointed that it was not. There were signs and screens showing “no smoking or vaping” everywhere. Unfortunately, no one seemed to have the decency to follow that rule, especially once the sunset. The ushers tried to get a handle on it, off and on, but no one listened. The smoke, vape and extremely heavy pot smell - which was bad enough to get a contact high - was seriously disappointing. I know it’s legal now but not every employer agrees with that and some still drug test. It’s not worth losing your job and livelihood for a concert that isn’t properly enforced. There was a lot of security around too so it’s a shame that no one enforced the rules. It’s a beautiful venue but it’s not one we’ll be attending again anytime soon. We’ve been to other outdoor venues that have a much better handle on this. Do better.

We went on 9/3/22 Saturday night. We went for Foreigner. The opening act was The Steel Woods, a Southern Sounding group. They where good. Then came Foreigner, They Rocked the House. It was our first time at the Ozark Amphitheater. It is layer out very well. Plenty of restrooms, and concessions. If your in the area, check them out.

Great concert venue, wonderful acoustics for a large outdoor setting. Much better sight and sound than Riverport (or whatever they call it now). They had a decent lineup in 2021, a great lineup in 2022 (went to eight shows), 2023 was just okay. As of 3/4/24, in my opinion they are really striking out, although Three Dog Night and Little River Band will be there this year. Now granted, shows I enjoy are the 70’s era classic rockers, and those guys are getting up there. However, Styx, Jackson Browne, Foreigner, ozark mountain daredevils, Nitty Gritty Dirt Ban, REO Speedwagon, Shooting Star, .38 Special, Kansas, George Thorogood, Head East, etc., all still look and sound great. Not sure where they got off track this year, possibly someone new there selecting the acts? Certainly not worth the price of PSL’s. That, and they moved my seats back to increase the mosh pit, which is annoying. I still think it is a great venue, but I and those I know are quickly losing interest.

This venue isn't handicap friendly at all. IF EVERYONE stays in there seats it would be fine. Once people stand up the people in wheelchairs can't see ANYTHING. Save your money or maybe try catching the artist in another town

Held captive. Exit took hours. Total cluster f***. Will never go back even though the show was great. Cluster, cluster, cluster. Go to a venue that knows how to clear a parking lot. DO NOT GO HERE

I took my 75 year old mom here with handicap tickets. We were told she would be shuttled to her seat. I asked three different people and they told her to keep going. Ended up falling. I asked the ADA tent for a wheelchair and they laughed at me. I asked if they would help her since she had handicap tickets and they said if she will walk down here. Super not cool.
