Our grandchildren always beg to come to the Conservation Center. There are lots of interesting animals to see such as the two-headed snake! We take advantage of the nature trails and ponds surrounding the building. Always lots to learn!

One of the best attractions in Southeast Missouri. We’ve taken the kids there several times. They have several free things going on every month.

Great experience. The kids loved the interaction of the displays. The staff was helpful and the gift shop is nice.

They have a two headed snake, a beehive (you can see the bees through a clear panel), animal furs you can touch, animal footprints that you can make rubbings of, displays of American Indian pottery/tools and free info about a variety of animals

Trails are well-marked and some have smooth finished surfaces. One can walk for several miles. Attractive building with interactive exhibits as well as restrooms.

We enjoy taking our dog on nice long walks on your pet-friendly hiking trail. (We always take waste disposal bags to pick up after our pet, but have noticed that some do not). A simple solution would be to have a pet waste station at...More

Thank you so very much for your kind words. Just a reminder that only the Maple Hollow Trail (behind shelter 3) is open to dog walkers. We appreciate your support in trying to keep our trails waste-free.

Free but too short . The kids go upset because we only got to do a few things . For younger kids they would love it
