This is a nice quiet place with a lot of trees overlooking Apple Creek and very close to I-55. There is a multi-level deck with a gazebo where a musician was playing great music. There was a section closed in with plastic which I’m sure is open air when it’s warm. There is also seating inside the building. I disagree with comments about the prices being high. The wines were reasonably priced as were the food items. The staff behind the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. We were staying in Cape Girardeau for the night and looking for something to do. This was a quaint spot. Enjoyed the tasting with Mary, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Took a day trip from the STL area. Not far off I-55. This family owned winery was a great destination. Very friendly, helpful in finding the perfect wine. The multilevel deck offers both covered and uncovered seats that all over look the babbling Apple Creek. They had great live music that was at the right volume to still be able to chat. Plan to go again this fall and bring family and friends too. Thanks Apple Creek!…

Like Greg G the wine was a little pricy but we did find an couple of very good ones. We like drier wines and did not try the sweeter ones. The view is really cool with a creek running below the deck. Unfortunately, we were traveling and couldn't stop to have a glass of wine and enjoy it more. Of the Cape Girardeau wineries we thought this was the best one.…
