Novice or expert, Baz Kaz and Jaz will look after all your needs, show you how to ride an enduro bike properly at your own pace and with an informal can do approach that is just wonderful. It was my first time on this type of bike and I have to say I loved it. The bike centre, the warm and friendly care and attention to detail, the instruction, the landscapes, Mijas village, the hotel, the cold beer ... I could go on. What a top place to spend a few days. I will be back xxx

Perfect combination of a friendly and professional service. Kaz’s communication as we planned the weekend was superb. She was informative, helpful and flexible on the whole build up. The greeting at Malaga airport couldn’t have been nicer… we immediately knew we were in good hands. It’s the little touches that Kaz and Jaz see to that makes things go so well. Riding the trails with Baz was awesome - stunning scenery, great management of a mixed ability group, and a lot of fun. Mijas is lovely too and was the perfect location for group dinners and drinks. Thank you for a fantastic weekend. I’ve no doubt we’ll be back many times.

A brilliant 2 days at Adventure Rider Centre, our first time however we will return. Very professional, hospitable and welcoming.
Kaz and Baz run a great experience might cost a little more but worth the extra.
Baz is a great instructor.

I've just returned from a couple of days riding with Adventure Rider Centre and don't think 5 stars is enough. From arriving at the airport and being collected by Kaz and Jaz I just felt like one of the family. The hotel and the small town of Mijas is an excellent base with superb restaurants and bars. The set up Baz and Kaz have is so professional with the best kit and bikes, nothing was shabby or worn out. I was so lucky to have Baz one to one and his tuition was excellent and always encouraging. On the second day we rode over 100km on some of the most amazing tracks I've ever ridden which without Baz's guiding knowledge you could never have found on your own.

I run the BikeShed club membership, plan and deliver all the experiences and events for the members. ARC is by far, one of the best riding centers I have been to. we received such warm welcome at the airport and from there on the whole experience was excellent. The attention to detail Kaz shown is invaluable, every one of my members me included was made to feel very special, from hangers and pegs with your name on them for your kit to go on at the end of the day, to fresh cakes in the morning and a cold beer at the end of the day. The kit is the best, the bikes are excellent, Baz, the owner our guide/instructor was so good, the trails and scenery good. Kaz. Baz and Daughter Jaz, have got this experience down to a fine art.
Great people running an excellent company. I'll be back ... for sure!

From collection to drop off, we had a fabulous time. Kaz and Jaz fitted us out with all our gear and got it spot on. The equipment was very clean and very comfortable and very good quality.
Out on the bikes, Baz was able to for fill every need of the whole team and was even able to push some of us (if you wanted it) harder which was much appreciated. Baz kept us watered and fed and offered some fantastic riding advise which we could put into practice. Upon return to base, the girls had icy cold drinks and snacks ready for us all. Highly recommend for the knowledge of the area and the fantastic hospitality.
I speak for us all when I say many thanks to you all, Baz, Kaz and Jaz, for everything. Sorry about our mates problem area Kaz.
Very best regards
Derrick

Now I’m back home I thought I would share the fabulous experience that I had last week at @Adventure Rider Centre which is based just outside Mijas in Spain.
I was really nervous before I got there even though I had met Karen Waind and Baz Fleming before, but the thought of riding a different bike to my beloved Serow filled me with horror.
A welcome chat, cup of tea and a doughnut ( there has to be cake, even in Spain 😄) settled my nerves and Baz got me to sit in the bike to reassure me that it was low enough 😅
Karen then fitted me out with all the gear - I am now in love with the new acerbis (sp?) body armour but I knew my bum looked big in the padded shorts so quickly got on the bike. I was given a rucksack with water and a waterproof in case it rained.
I then ceremoniously kangerood out of the drive as different boots and a small gear lever meant that I couldn’t get out of first 😳😳😳 , thank goodness there was no intercom as the language was blue as I wondered what the hell I had let myself in for. Baz stopped, calmed me down and showed me a better way to reach the gears and said that we would just go for a 15 min ride so I could get used to the bike.
We headed for the back gravelly roads and gradually my shoulders left my ears, my foot found the pedal and the grin found my face😄
The Centre is fortunate to have access to a varied terrain, dusty dirt roads, a rocky stretch and then the finca where the hills range from gentle to Everest, with lots of lovely little trails in between.
When we had reached a flat bit the tuition began. I had said that I would like to try and ride a bit standing up - those that know me know I steadfastly sit through everything and I felt that I needed to try and improve this aspect.
Baz was very patient and explained WHY it was advantageous at times to stand and held the bike whilst I got my positioning right.
It’s funny how stuff clicks when it feels right and you know what you are aiming for.
A delicious lunch at a local cafe was very welcome and we then carried on
Practising my new found skills with Baz either leading or riding by the side and shouting to me to tuck my butt in ( my word, not his 😊) and generally giving more guidance on how I should be riding.
As you can see from the photos I did ride both sitting and standing but I got the feel of when it’s right which was so good.
I had lots of praise from my instructor who had the patience of a saint, a fabulous sunny day, and I achieved the goal that I had set out to do, and I didn’t fall off once.- perfect 🤩
Karen greeted us back at the base with the best ‘Ice cold in Alex’ orange Fanta I have ever had as I was hot and a bit weary but absolutely buzzing.
Thank you Karen and Baz for a great day, would thoroughly recommend anyone who wants some expert training to come here. The terrain is fabulous for experienced riders who want to have fun doing seriously difficult stuff as well as the gentler slopes for wimps like me .
