What a jewel Mijas is the beautiful panoramic view of the Costa del sol is fabulous. We were entertained by flamenco dancers and a group of children singing in the square .

Mijas is a charming hilltop town with narrow alleys full of white-washed houses, flowers and squares. The plaza is a complete contrast to the rest of the town, an expansive central space connecting down to the car park, tourist office and views across the valley....More

The town of fuengirola has several beaches. It is about 8kms away but there is public transport to Fuengirola terminus. It takes approx 12 mins. Sorry but I do not know the frequency.
