The Exposition Artesania de Espana is a shop containing a large collection of diverse ceramics . The space is limited and the shelves are packed and it seems that breakages must be common especially by those with backpacks. Prices seemed to be high but I suppose much of it, including the kitsch, is considered art.

This is a must visit for ceramic lovers . The Shop sell traditional genuine ceramics from all over Spain , not the tourist market type ,well worth a browse around .

Great place if you are a collector. They will ship back. The employees deal with a lot of tourists, so be considerate.

Mijas is beautiful and, if you lust after ceramic bowls, tiles, etc., Exposition Artesania is the place to go. We bought two pieces.

Mijas really blew my mind!!! Never thought this was going to be such a beautiful town to wander around. The ceramic artesanias are just gorgeous!!! People are really nice. We got a chance to see a concert of various artists and there was a great and animated ambience all around. Loved it!

The kind of place to go to and either curse or be thankful for only having a 20kg baggage allowance. Spanish ceramics to suit just about very taste and as much a visitor experience as a shop.

I loved browsing through the beautiful art culture of Spain. The shop displays items to suit every taste---a variety of color, pattern and style. Lovely place to stop while in town.

This shop just stood out from all the other tourist pottery stores. A Fine selection of Artisan Ceramics and the impeccable service from the young Asian lady, just completed the experience. She had good knowledge of maker and advised us without being 'pushy'. Both the owner and the young lady spoke excellent English and we were able to know more... More
