Home to over 500 rare and endangered animals from all over the world representing 56 species. We have camels, kangaroos, lemurs, buffalo, omnivores, deer and we are home to many rescued large reptiles and tropical birds too! We have just added some cats to our park including Caracals and Servals. There is plenty to see in our 4 mile drive thru and petting zoo with walk thru area too! Come during one of our bottle feeding times and you will get to help our zookeepers bottle feed baby animals! Newly added this past summer we opened a new wing to the Walk Thru to include a Ring-tailed Lemur Exhibit, an American Alligator Poll and the Prarie Dog Town! Open everyday, year-round! Have a bigger family? Promised Land ZOO now offers a special Family Rate that will allow you to bring all the kids you want at a discounted rate (see our website for details). Also look to our website for personal tour, group tour and special party information. Bottle feedings daily.

A blast!

We had a blast looking at all of the animals and the petting zoo was fantastic. The camel was hilarious.

This was our 2nd visit to promised land zoo and we enjoyed our trip through all the exotic animals. It's a joy to be surrounded by the beautiful landscape and variety of animals coming right up to our car! It was raining and many different animals showed up to entertain us.the buffalo herd tried to put their heafs in all... More

My family and I recently moved to Arkansas. We have been trying to explore the area and surrounding states as much as possible. Our three year old loves animals so we have been travelling to the different zoo's and safaris. We made the 2 hour and 30 minute drive to Promised Land Zoo in Eagle Rock. I paid the nearly... More

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your recent visit to Promised Land Zoo! As I'm sure you noticed, we are in the middle of winter and two separate very cold storms! We have no control over the weather and when it's wet you may see some mud, but we do provide heated barns for most of our animals... More

This zoo is a drive through with most of the animals uncaged. You can buy food and feed the animals which will come up to your car knowing they will be fed. There were four adults driving and feeding the animals and thoroughly enjoying the experience. This is a private zoo being run by a family and staff. It is... More

An amazing place to see and touch Gods creation. Make sure you buy plenty of food for Detour the camel and Bill Murray the emu. You'll love it!

The llama and emus had us laughing for days about their antics to get food from us during our drive through. The emus would get right up against the car making it impossible to move on and then stare us down through the windows. The llamas worked in a group of three: one would stand in front of the car... Such a different experience. I don't know if we've ever laughed so hard when we had an encounter with a buffalo. Their tounges are so long and theyre very friendly. Such a fun and different find.

My new husband and I had a blast at The Promised Land Zoo! We were in Eureka Springs, AR for our honeymoon and saw all the signs for the Zoo, so we decided to try it out. We live on a large farm, so a lot of the animals were nothing new to us, especially feeding animals! But the exotics... More

We drove almost 2 hours out of the way to get here, and had high expectations based on all the stellar reviews. It wasn't bad....we had fun....but a little disappointed in the size of the petting zoo and that there are pretty much only deer, llamas, and emus to feed on the drive through. Credit to them though, they have... More
