Sainte Roseline | 3 km from Les Arcs, 83460 Les Arcs sur Argens, France
The Chapelle is directly across from the winery so you can explore both in one stop. The story of Sainte Roseline is unique. The mural is very impressive. Tasted wine and brought home several bottles to remember the trip.
The small and intimate chapelle contains the mumified body of Sainte Roseline, who died more than 800 years ago. She is very well preserved. And then the wall with Chagall paintings is fantastic.
The winery makes very good wines and these can be tasted as...More
This historical monument holds the body of the revered Saint Rose which is a Miracle story. There also is a statue of Sainte Roseline at the ornate alter and a Mosaic by Chagall depicting the meal of the Angels. Very beautiful.
This is a gem of a place with a stunning mural by Chagall which is worth the trip alone. The bonus is the wine of Ste Roseline which is some of the best in Provence.Superb rose full of vibrancy and outstanding red wines of great depth...More
This chapel contains a wonderful Chagall mosaic as well as the mummified body of the saint after which it has been named. It is on the grounds of a winery which offers tours and tasting of some very respectable wines. A very pleasant one to...More
We wanted to taste the wines, actually not bad at all.

A very interesting and beautiful chapel and winery as well. Good for the soul and the body. The chapel is beautiful with many paintings on the walls, the mummified body of St. Roseline that is still in pretty good condition after 800 years. But the...More
Walked here from Les Arcs. A bit of a slog along a busy narrow road but worth it. Beautiful light and airy chapel surrounded by vineyards and approached via a shade tree esplanade make a worthy destination. While there may as well visit the eponymous...More
I believe you can hire the Chateau and for a special occasion I can't think of a nicer setting.
We joined the wedding party for lunch on the Sunday and sat outside.
There is a pool which was tempting but too cool that day.
