Came today with little ones - no pick and mix which is understandable, but everything else worked well. Booking app made it easy and the gaps were kept between parties! All in all, good to be back!

We turned up on time and had to sit through 15mins of adverts. We had paid for the seats! This had me mad for the whole movie, ruined. Avoid this place.

Enjoyable visit
Feb 2020 • Family
Went today to see a kids film in screen 5. Bought a family ticket for £20 which was a significant increase from previously and the food and drink were very expensive which is no surprise. Have to say the seats were comfortable and your view is not blocked by the row in front if you are sitting at the rows to the back rather than the front. Overall we enjoyed the visit.

Little Women (AM Alcott)
Jan 2020
I am a man who attended this showing of Little Women with my wife on New Years night. In all honesty we were trying to escape our returning adult children who had taken over the house.
The Ben & Jerrys baked alaska was superb and a long-awaited return to the menu. The setting on a bed of strawberry cheesecake kept me amused for the first 20 minutes of this 2 hour “adaptation” of an all American classic (for girls). The problem with 21st century adaptations is that someone has been paid a lot to make the original devoid of meaning or context. Between the baked Alaska and strawberry cheesecake layers I noticed a lot of bright coloured frocks and talking about stuff on the big screen at the front of the sitting area. Like the cost of frocks and the shape of girls noses etc. I didn’t read the original when I was 13 and am a 60 year old male so forgive me for being obvious but THERE IS NO PLOT OR ACTION. Someone falls through the ice at one point but gets pulled out with a branch and the only death is not seen. The timeline switches back and forth and was confusing to us concrete guys. The actresses were nice but seemed a bit redundant. Saoirse Ronan picked the best part. Emma Watson was weak as an American and poor. Laura Dern was wooden and poor (was she on something?). Streep was very poor as usual and worse than Dern. The whole thing could have been paraphrased in 20 minutes with a lot of money saved. So I awarded the movie 1 star for getting out of bed, the omniplex 1 star for a great seat and Ben & Jerrys another for reprising the baked Alaska situation. This sort of movie just makes climate change worse. People sit around and generate carbon. If anyone gets an Oscar for any part of this one, we as a species deserve extinction.

The staff here are amazing. I have a son with autism and we regularly go here and they couldn't be Nicer to him. Nothings to much trouble. The cinema itself is spotless and we always enjoy our trips

Bad for regulars
Aug 2019 • Family
My family use this Cinema quite often. Crazy Tues were brilliant. But last tues when entering, were told the tickets would be £7.50 more, as the crazy Tues only works when buying online. So I went back out and booked online. This week I decided to book online before I left my house, to find out the have now increased the price online. Why was I not told this last week. They seem to be promoting this myomni over everything else, not everyone can afford £13.95 per month for 12 months, rip off! Absolutely disgusted at this. Looks like Movie House, York Gate will get our money from now on.

Hugely disappointed
Jul 2019 • Couples
Once or twice a month my wife and I go to the Lisburn Omniplex on a Tuesday for the excellent value of £4 each, very handy service for busy people.
Tonight we were informed that this was no longer the case and were asked for £14.40. A bit of a surprise and a disappointment since we went a couple of weeks ago and there was no mention of the new policy. The member of staff did point out the new Omnipass that they were 'pushing' (13.95) that has lots of benefits, it all seemed fairly reasonable until my 'eagle eyed' spouse spotted that the Pass was a 12 month commitment. Therefore nearly £170 each over the year. Can't imagine this will make good 'business sense'. We'll be going elsewhere!

Just been to see film with our son and the entire movie was spoilt by noise from next doors movie!!!! Noise was awful! Quiet movies shouldn't be shown next to adventurous ones!!!! Also you are putting way too much salt on your popcorn....like WAY too much!!! It's incredibly unpleasant and very UNHEALTHY!!!!!!! Staff are friendly though and it's clean too.
