You can get lost in here for hours while wandering through the atmospheric streets. Cobblers, furniture-makers, metal workers, spice stalls and fresh produce make for interesting sights and smells in every direction. It's a proper souk - not like in Beirut.

Following a walk on the promenade having seen the old Crusader Sea Castle a stroll through the old souk is your next stop. For starters all the people are so friendly and helpful so if there is anything in particular you want just ask. Hand...More

Old city of Saida is probably one of the most touristic attraction that every single person should visit. The narrow alleys, the old buildings (renovated or not), the artisans with old professions, the food and its delicious smell and taste all over, the Khans, the...More

We enjoyed it very much, as it always such fun to wander through the rabbit warren of a large souk. But the offerings were mostly clothing, and little of interest to the tourist.

I would definitely recommend the souk for an afternoon stroll. I loved the layout of the city. Unfortunately, when we were there, many of the shops were closed but nonetheless I am happy we drove down from Beirut.

Sidon Souk was a great market place to visit, we had a great time roaming through the little stalls and shops. So many things to see and buy at very affordable prices. Lots to see amongst the hustle and bustle. Everyone needs to visit this...More

What I felt about the souk in Sidon is that it is real, used by real people, and not a tourist monstrosity. I bought a number of items at very reasonable prices. We even had a chat in Turkish in one shop.
