We enjoyed the scenery, history, and geography of La Grave. At one point it might only be 40 meters across from one beach to the other. In it's heyday, it must have been an iconic site full of hustle and bustle. Now it's a collection...More

Love this part of the islands. There are so many little shops, close together to make walking to them much easier. Stopped for cake and coffee at Cafe La Grave. Both were great!. Perhaps the best coffee I had on the islands

This little village of les iles de la madeleine is very quaint. The people living and working there are absolutely fantastic, very polite and devoted to their village and their island do not miss it

While it has the potential/look to be a tourist trap, it certainly isn't. You can certainly spend money in the many shops that populate the area but the quality of goods for sale exceeds what one might expect to find in other places. Artisans rule...More

This is a must see. Strolling thru the street, visiting the boutiques in a very relaxed atmosphere. The artists like to share stories and experiences with you. Well worth the drive.

Expect to spend a couple hours going through the shops. Expensive clothing but souvenirs are very creative and reasonable. Lots of local stuff an little from off shore.

I recently visited La Grave on a bus tour of Iles de la Madeleine. It was a nice place to stop for coffee or ice cream, to take pictures and visit the docks. There were many nice shops, each selling a specialized type of souvenir...More

Great place to go shopping and look at views here. There is water on either side of you and there are plenty of excellent boutiques for shopping. Stop here!

This is a good area to meander around. Probably the most concentrated and interesting artisan area on the Islands. We also took in the museum which gives a good history of the area and a great cafe, Café la Grave. Walk out to the point...More
