We loved our ride with the Painted Ponies. We had novice to skilled riders and they accommodated everyone. We took to jungle and arrived at the beach just as the sun was beginning to set. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect ride! Jose was a great guide, and great fun!

Went with my two kids (11 and 8) this morning. We can all ride (and not just trot round a ring but ride out in the open without lead reins). The owner was prompt to collect up, the horses were well maintained and were excellently trained. These are not run of the beach riding ponies but horses which know and... More

Very reasonable, really well taken care of horses, transportation to and from included, very nice owners, got to ride in the jungle and on the beach………what else could you ask for. This excursion exceeded our expectations.

I have gone on two trips with two different companies since coming to Sayulita and this one definitely takes first. The horse they picked out for me was just perfect and Jose was such a wonderful guide. It was $50 u.s. for a 2 hour ride and I did the tour down to Litibu beach and we rode through the... More

We were promptly picked up in town for our ride out to the horses. It was a delightful ride on the road to Punta Mita. We went through a very small town and out to the ranch. This "ranch" is really just where they have the horses. The horses are very well cared for and Jose is a great guide.... More

We just returned from our two hour jungle/beach ride and it was fantastic! We were picked up in town promptly, and Jose was a marvelous guide, and our horses were quiet and relaxed. As a veterinarian and a long time horsewoman, I can attest to the fact that these ponies were very well cared for, well groomed, and in clean... More

Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking a beach ride with Jose and Victor. We were picked up on time in Sayulita by Jose and driven to a more remote area about 15 minutes South. The property that the ranch is on is amazing....My 4 year old and 6 year were on their own horse led by our guides. The... More

I had promised my 13 grandchildren and their parents during our week in Sayulita but once all arrangements were made I was told I had to have my own transportation and it was too far out. I had planned on it for nearly a year and had written that we would be travelling by bus from PVR to Sayulita by... More

Well it's been about a month since I had the pleasure of experiencing Mexico's different terrains by horseback, does my mind not travel back to that two hour journey every day! I am barely an experienced rider... I used to ride in my youth, while I feel comfortable on and around horses, I would have to say that having riding... More
