Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

Wine tasting

Fantastic wine tasting, best one we have been on, pity other wineries can't be this good. Recommend everyone to visit.

the wines here are delicious . not a fan of the verjuice though, but the pinot noir is well balanced and peppery just the way they should be.

It's hard to find an adult activity that is enjoyable for adults and children alike but puddleduck vineyard nailed it! Tastings are $5 and complimentary if you end up buying a bottle. The approx cost by the glass is between $10 and $12! There is a fantastic playground and toys for children aged 0-5 and lots of grass for the... More

We headed here after Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Service was fantastic, really child friendly. We brought a picnic with us and bought a bottle of the fume blanc. Yum. The kids sat on beanbags under a tree entertained by the ducks! Small playground onsite too.

Looking for a wine experience for New Years Eve and discovered everything ducky. If you've got a theme, stick to it and enhance it and they have done this beautifully. Sample the wine, but a ducky treat to take home and even feed the ducks and yourself - just beautiful.

Stopped en route to Hobart and very glad I did. Very friendly and welcoming service at this family run winery. Darren, the owner, was happy to chat and share his vast knowledge on wines and the area. Very passionate about Tassie wines and that passion comes through in the wines. Pinot, Riesling and Fume Blanc were very good. Not cheap... More

The Puddle Duck Vineyard is a real find! It seems to be a beautiful place to visit and just relax while sampling some of their wines that are evidently only available from at the winery. The wines that are available on the basic sampling are lovely and varied. With the samples, there are beautiful local cheeses and sauces. It is... More

we went as a small group 7 for the country atmosphere and lunch. Not the vineyards fault that they only serve platters/food etc. but for $50 for shared platter between 2 people, I expected more. It consisted of everything I could buy at my local shop/deli and not much of it. Amongst other things of proportionately small amounts for 2... More

This winery has a spacious restaurant with a small menu. It also offers a reverse by. Guests can bring their own food and enjoy a picnic by the lake while enjoying Puddleduck's lovely wines. We tried the 2016 Fume Blanc which was delicious. Vineyard Platter was on the small side for the price which is the only negative. Staff were... More
