Overview
More
Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy in our outdoor areas. We look forward to seeing you soon.

We had family from Europe and from Sydney so we thought the place would be good to showcase Tasmanian produce as we had eaten there last August and rated it highly. We ordered 2 platters to share around 7 people and there was plenty to...More

Fab service from the guy who showed us around. He told us about how the vineyard started and the dedication and love that the family have put into the vineyard and cellar door. We got to feed the ducks and wander around at our leisure....More

Puddleduck is a pretty venue for a vineyard and the staff are lovely. However I was disappointed with the Platter for 2 that cost $52! I moved to Tasmania for food experiences and have had many amazing meals. For $52 at Willie Smith's I would...More

Hi Celeste, thank you so much for taking the time to review Puddleduck Vineyard. From the explanation of the platter you received - it certainly sounds as if your platter was in fact a platter for one - our platters for two are generally hard...More

They had 5 wines to taste only and charged $5 for these. I thought they are a little overpriced, I did not eat here but the view over the duck pond was lovely

We had a lovely time here. Great for toddlers who can play in the playground and also feed the many ducks. Pleasant outlook and also enjoyed the wine and local cheeses.

Once again returned to this delightful venue. My wife an I had a vineyard platter for two. I washed mine down with the wine selection pallet and the wife had a gin verve juice spritzer. Beautiful venue, beautiful meal and a top view. Service was...More

Really loved our visit to Puddle Duck! We did a quick wine tasting and had a walk around the grounds as a quick pit stop on our drive through Hobart. Staff were incredibly friendly and the space itself was lovely and quaint. Would recommend the...More

Beautiful small winery with knowledgeable and friendly staff. $5 for a tasting, some nice wines including Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot noir. Nice gift shop also.

Sorry went there in a day trip. But any in the region would be good and probably cheaper than Hobart
