The music gets rolling around 3 am since the 1920's. Traditionally musicians come by after their gigs to play together. Almost always good, some times fantastic music. This is a unique Kansas City tradition. It doesn't get any better.

I've been to a lot of places and heard a lot of music, but for atmosphere, quality of music and people, the Foundation is absolutely the best ever. Go Friday and Saturday nights after midnight for the jams. Just freaking gorgeous.
