This museum and memorial is a must see when in the Kansas City area. The museum is so well-organized and the "audio-tour" is the way to enhance your experience. Displays are well-organized and really tell the story of WWI - a wonderful experience if you are a history buff or if you know nothing about WWI prior to visiting. While... More

We heard about this memorial while on a trolley tour of Kansas City. After the tour, we went back to the memorial and took the self guided tour inside. We also went to the top and got amazing views of Kansas City. We will definitely return and we really enjoyed the two day option enabling guests to come back at... More

Fantastic exhibit! So interesting. This took close to 2 hours to see everything. I saw it with my dad who cannot walk well. They have great scooters available and handicapped parking. Nice gift shop and restaraunt.

The museum was well organized with plenty of visual examples of trenches, also a life size crater. The tower is an impressive piece of architecture. Enjoyed our visit. It took about 3 hours, could have spent more time there, but it shouldn't take more than a day to see it. We ate in the cafe and the food was AWESOME!

Love, love, loved my visit! Take the guided tour! It is well worth the wait for a tour to start. This museum is very informative and keeps your interest peeked throughout. The tour guide I had (can't remember his name) was also very knowledgeable.

History buff must see. Advertised as the only dedicated WWI museum in the USA. The volunteer guide was great. About 2 hours. Good movies explained causes of the war.

I am embarrassed to say that I have lived in Kansas for over 40 years and we have not been here before. My father was in town and my college age son. We were all just amazed at the qualify of items and the wealth of knowledge we left with.
