This place has the most amazing views to witness a sundown in Barranquilla… the wind, the sea, the air… I didn't get to do much other than just watch the spectacular caribbean sun meet the horizon. Great place to just chill.

This castle is a nice visit with a beautiful view of the Carribean and coast line. The restaurant inside the castle had a nice variety of food, a little more expensive than some places.

It's just an old building with an okay view, nothing special about it. Not even beautiful view. I didn't want to use more time than 15 mins there, they might make good food but this view and place wasn't even worth waiting for food.

There was a wedding when we went so we didn't get to go inside. But the view outside was stunning around sunset!

Nice place to have lunch because of the interesting location in front of the sea. The food is fine although the service is very good. After eating there is opportunity to walk around the beautiful view.

We went to this place as they told us we'd be able to appreciate a beautiful sunset, and we did. However, the "castle" itself was closed. No explanation given at the entrance, by the way. We'd heard there was a nice restaurant inside, but sadly...More

If you want to eat there, try to sit outside, you have the great vieuw, inside it is too cold with airconditioning. The castle is nice from the outside, not to compare with castles from Europe, but really cute. The vieuw is amazing.

The Castillo is not really a castillo. It's simply a building with a restaurant inside. The view is nice. If you don't go you won't miss anything. If you decide to go, don't wear a skirt. It's really windy

Went to dinner here with my tour group and it was excellent, it has a good selection of seafood. The restaurant has a very homely feel, but is well decorated with local art. Outside you get the chance to catch up with History and get...More

It's not amazing, but you can enjoy a nice late lunch (from Thursdays), then wait for sunset. I like some posters they have with old pictures.

Definitivamente es tranquilo y seguro. El viaje son 90 minutos aproximadamente. En el camino hay un restaurante muy famoso en la carretera llamado el sombrero vueltiao. Puedes ir a las playas de santa veronica, ahi venden... More
