Thoroughly enjoyed this historical site and home. Worth the out of the way drive to a town that has nothing else to do. Our tour guide was great and was very knowledgeable. Interesting history.

The Truman Birthplace is small. You can easily tour it in less than an hour. The guides are a wealth of information. There is plenty of parking. When my family and I visit, we also like to walk around the square in Lamar.

Stopped at Lamar as it was halfway to my destination and was pleasantly surprised to see this treasure here. Very close to motel, very sweet guide, and very interesting site. Very well mantained tribute.
