It was a little boring for my daughter who was 10 at the time. It was definitely designed for younger children. I liked it because it was not too big. I was able to keep track of my daughter easily when I was not in the water with her. The concession stand was extremely affordable compared to other hotels with... More

Great for kids, lots to do. $17 a person for all day, open until 10 pm. Water slide is really fun...so is the giant bucket that drops every minute

The water park is only open at Tan Tar A on weekends after Labor Day, so we only had a little time to visit since we checked in on a Sunday afternoon. A few hours was plenty of time to visit though; the park itself is pretty small and only has a few slides, a lazy river, a climbing /... More

No lifeguards! Swim at your own risk. $35 for one adult and one child. To much money for me - no more again.

My 10-year-old daughter and I went to the Timber Falls Waterpark at Tan-Tar-A on Aug. 13, the second Saturday of the month, as part of a weekend trip to Lake of the Ozarks. We did not stay at Tan-Tar-A. We ate lunch outside the resort, then had no problem finding the property, or the waterpark. We arrived at about 12:30... More

I have a 1 and a 3-year-old sister so water level for a water park is always considered. This is a perfect place if you don't like too much heat outside or if it's raining. A lot of activities/things to do for the kids. The only thing I didn't like is the noise is amplified since it's indoor and there's... More

It was our original intent to go to the water park, and since it was a cooler day and cloudy, it worked out. There were lockers to rent for a quarter, changing rooms and bathrooms. We spent three plus hours there riding the double or single tube slide. There was a second slide that you could go down without a... More

Our family of 5 stayed at Tan-tar-a for two nights with the main purpose of visiting this indoor waterpark. It was a very last minute trip (we live about 2 hour drive away) and we were very pleased with our experience at the waterpark. It's not super big, but our children are young (6 and under) and it was the... More

We stayed at Tantara and the kids enjoyed the water park. Since it was summer most folks were at the outdoor pools, so we had the complex to ourselves and had a blast.

We took 5 kids under age 9 and had a great time. No life guard at the top of the small slides (or anywhere else) so some parent assistance is needed at all times but the activities were great. The lazy river and large slides were fun for teenagers/adults. The small pool was out of service when we were there,... More
