The Ralph Foster Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts with special emphasis on the history and culture of the Ozark Mountain Region. Originally housed in Abernathy Hall, a boy's dorm on the campus of College of the Ozarks, the building has been transformed into three floors of exhibits where visitors will find many items of interest, such as antiques, dolls, clocks, music items, a large firearms collection, natural history, and textiles, in addition to the Beverly Hillbillies truck that was used in the television series.

Great education about the ozark mountains and more. Cheap admission for adults and kids were free. The kids have talked and talked about this place every since we have returned home. Will be one of those vacation times they will always remember.

So much to see in this museum. Allow lots of time. Small fee to enter but you can spend hours just wondering around. Even has the Beverly Hillbillies car there. Lots of guns on display if you like those.

Make sure to have plenty of time. Three floors of local topics. We were especially intrigued by the original Beverly Hillbillies truck.

This is a fine museum with 3 floors of interesting material. The admission is very affordable. My young kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt finds. The student run staff is very caring.
