The number 1 thing people tell us is " Never knew it only lasted 18 months." The history lesson by going through the museum is a hands on learning experience and full of information.

The presentation is pretty good. I did learn a few things that I didn't previously know. Not worth going out of the way for, but good if you're in town.

I had always thought that riders road straight through with justa rest stop, but actually they would only go as far as a home station, rest there, get the mail going the other direction and head back. Riders were from many places, some rode once,...More

A small but exceedingly chocked full museum. The artifacts are very nicely displaced, interactive for young children, but detailed for adults as well.

Having authentic items as working well and others throughout the museum allows for the imagination for children to learn history in a fun setting. The video does set the stage for the tour. Glad you enjoyed.

Hard to believe that the Pony Express was in existence for only a short period of time, but it's a story that inspired generations. This museum does a great job of telling the story, and it's well worth a visit.

The museum does tell a great story. History does teach how people would of lived in the 1860's.
