Stopped in during our City Walk Around
Aug 2020
It's a very interesting building and demands a photo if you are walking by. Half the reason we walked the city is for photos (the other half was to find BBQ). This was one of the stops I wanted to make.

Stunning building
Jul 2019
The Old Post Office and Custom House is a splendid building to locate not to far from the Gateway arch, looks a bit Gothic in design to me but a stunning find in St Louis.

Fun to visit on a whim
May 2017 • Solo
Stopped by the Old Post Office on a whim after passing it by during my first visit to St. Louis. Turned out to be very interesting and informative! The architecture is beautiful and makes the trip worth it in itself.

Stop in and see!
Oct 2016 • Couples
We saw this as part of a tour, and I would recommend to anyone walking by this beautiful building to stop in and take a look. The walls are covered with giant murals, and the details in the building are beautiful. see attached photos...

Looking for Stamps, Not the Place
Aug 2016 • Solo
I must admit, I really did ask the guard where I could buy stamps. He laughed and told me I made his day. I did learn that this was once the location of the Public Library. Great history and a remarkable renovation to restore the building. The guard was very knowledgeable.

Cheaper and reliable
Aug 2016 • Solo
I like the US post office in Saint Louis because it ' s cheaper and it very reliable . I always ship packages overseas for family and friend in Europe and Africa . The shipping time is exactly as it said . The packages always get to the destination without damages . I will highly recommend the US post office of STL any time.

interesting old building
Dec 2015 • Solo
love visiting old buildings. the outside was very unique, the floors of the inside were cool too with old tiles. Part of the inside now is a library and there is a museum also. I didn't make it in there. Worth a look while in the area.

Go for the sculpture AND the building.
Oct 2014 • Couples
This is a beautiful building inside and out. Renovated for some private use, they managed to preserve the unique beauty and state of the art (for the time) design. Absolutely beautiful and the original sculpture (uncertain of the name but it was something like America at peace and in war) that was installed on the roof now resides inside the building and is gorgeous to behold. A replica has been placed outside in its location. Also enjoyed quickly perusing the small exhibit on the building'a origins as a customs house after the civil war. Difficult to get into at times due to the hours of operation but worth a quick detour if you are already downtown.
