One of the last Victorian parks in the country. Nice place to relax and also enjoy the sculptures and the gazebos. Great place to picnic especially if you are romantic.

A gorgeous park! It's pretty big and surrounded by beautiful old homes. It's kept up pretty well, lots of walking and biking trails, gazebos and green space. Lots of historical buildings too. It was clean and there were lots of people roaming around.

I live walking distance from this park, and I love going there on a daily basis. There are 3 total playgrounds in the park, plenty of picnic spots, a fountain that kids can swim in during the summer months, ponds with ducks in them, tennis courts along with many other activities and sights to see. I just love walking in... More

This is the largest English style walking park in the USA. It is a lovely place to go anytime of the year. Autumn is especially beautiful due to all of the varieties of trees and their gorgeous colors. The lily ponds are really great. And the Lindell Hotel Ruins are a nice backdrop. The pagodas and picnic pavilions have truly... More

My husband & I were married here and I have married many couples since then. Ruins, a lake with ducks, a beautiful music stand and the magnificent Piper Palm House stud this National Landmark park given to the city by Henry Shaw, buried nearby in Missouri Botanical Garden. We have loved this part for a half century.

The center piece of Tower Grove Park features "The Ancient Ruins". It has a beautiful fountain in the center of a small pond with an ancient rock formation, paved walking paths and beautiful landscaping. The Palm House sits behind the lake, a large gazebo is on the east side of the lake and the Missouri Botanical Garden is one block... More

The Tower Grove Park is a great place to walk or sit on a park bench and read or relax. Being pet friendly it is also a very nice place to give your pooch some exercise. We only walked about a quarter of the park and wish I had more time to spend there.

This is one of the few Victorian Strolling parks left in the country. This park is very large with several original gazebos. Beautiful landscaping.

Huge beautiful city park, great for dog walking (lots of squirrels), bike riding, walking, running, picnicking, etc. Huge variety of ancient trees. Tennis courts for a fee. Lots of good photo spots. The immediate surrounding neighborhood is very cute, going a few blocks away though, things change, the homes aren't as well maintained...The Botanical Gardens is right next door. While... More
