My wife and I visited 1984 for our 10 year anniversary. We had a blast. We were like kids in a candy store. I love that you pay a cover charge and can play all evening long. We tried nearly every game. A few of the games were turned off but there to many to count that were available for... More

We came here for my birthday and it was great! All my favorites, Galaga, Moon Patrol, Frogger, and even Ghostbusters Pinball! Check it out if you love old games, I even bought the T shirt!

If you like old school games this is the place to be, I loved all they had to offer. For $7.50 you can play from 4pm until they close and you may come and go if you like. The pinball games do cost .50 each play, but well worth it. It is a two level building full of classics such... More

The kids are out of the house and we are now looking for unique date nights - 1984 did not disappoint. We had a great evening playing video and pinball games against each other - truly together time. There were many parents with kids and it was so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Disney got it wrong. Disneyland is not the happiest place on earth, that honour belongs to 1984, a 1980's era games arcade in Springfield Missouri. The place was buzzing. A diverse range of old arcade machines, pinball machines and cultural artefacts that makes you think you went 'back to the future' and have been transported back to the 1980's. A... More

This is truly a game room from my past, it has all the games you remember along with pinball machines. The price was $7.50 which included unlimited video games, the pinball machines were 50 cents each. Parking is on the street. 1984 also has a snack bar if you get hungry reliving your childhood. My family had a blast, give... More

We booked a private party of about 60 during the day at 1984, and it was a fantastic experience. Of course, the game selection is AMAZING - what a trip down memory lane! The owners are very welcoming, and the cost for a group is very reasonable. Whether you're just going on your own or with a large group, 1984... More

I have been to 1984 several times. I usually visit a couple of times for year. An amazing value for an afternoon or evening out. Great for couples, families, office party or birthday parties (kids or adults) because everyone can play, everyone has fun. A super-friendly atmosphere for everyone.
