This park has a lot going on! Japanese stroll garden with fish feeding, beautiful scenery and landscaping everywhere, trails which go even farther around town, a butterfly house, botanical center and gift shop, multiple types of show gardens, historical house and barn, and that's not even all. You can get your daily run in here, or just meander around for... More

So much work and planning has gone into these gardens. Every season offers something beautiful and interesting. I love to catch the Iris and Peonies in full bloom. The varieties are countless. The new redbud and Magnolia tree garden is likewise fascinating. I never tire of walking the trails.

This is a fantastic park to bring children, have weddings, play Pokemon, and take pictures!! On weekends it does tend to be a little crowded, but with the park being so spacious it won't seem that way. The Grey/Campbell house and outer historical buildings are a must and a great way to see how a settler family lived.

One of the best parks in Springfield! Has a big nice pond. Long trail. Flowers. Butterfly spot. Nice people. Peaceful. Every time I go I see people taking family an wedding pictures there. So in spring/summer/fall it's s good place to take photos.

This park is about 54 acres and is actually four parks all together. It has the Japanese Stroll Garden, the Botanical Center, Nat Greene and Close Memorial Park. There is playground equipment for the little ones, a butterfly house, trails, waterfall, water fowl and more. Something for everyone at this park. Pokémon players had it a bit overcrowded for a... You can't beat this awesome park! There are so many well kept flowers, trees, streams, etc. You can actually see fish, turtles, and other fun creatures in the water! There are plenty of benches, little play areas, etc. Not to mention, it's a great place for biking, pictures, and tons of other things.
