Nice little zoo

Springfield has a nice little zoo, they are doing some upgrades. It fun for the little kids. Teens would be bored pretty quickly.

We came her with my 2 year old niece and had a great time walking around and enjoying the animals for a couple hours. There is nothing super impressive about this zoo, but it is a great attraction for a town this size. We especially enjoyed feeding the giraffes!

This seemed like it could be a very fun zoo but in December, most of the exhibits like the petting zoo are closed. For as little as we saw, they could have charged half. We did see a cheetah though; that was a first for us.

My two year old son has a great time here. I love it because it isn't huge, so its a great place to take younger children. He loved seeing the giraffes.

The zoo is definitely no big city zoo but for a city the size of Springfield it is still kind of disappointing. They do have a giraffe podium where you can feed them that is really cool and my kiddos always love the hippo, but I hear they are getting rid of it. It is a clean facility, no trash... More

It is a small zoo! It's fun but not much walking nor animals. Good for kids that get fidgety easily. Fast trip to the zoo.

I love the Zoo. It is a great place for all ages and all types. My favorite part is where you can feed the giraffes. If you are looking for some where great to visit you wont be disappointed.

This is a small zoo tucked away in a corner of Springfield, MO. The setting is beautiful and sans city ruckus. We visited on a Friday afternoon in November and practically had the place to ourselves. You can see the hole place in 2 hours. Parking was free but there was an entrance fee of $12 per adult.

We got to the zoo early in the morning as the animals were awakening. Most were eating breakfast. I was fun to watch them eat. As the day warmed up the animals became more active and playful. The zoo itself is clean and easy to walk through. A great place for family. Also accessible for disabled as well.
