Great Winery!

Me and my wife visited Oovvda Winery while in Springfield. They are a great group of people. The wine was great!

We love Oovvda! We have made the effort to stop when they have music scheduled and it's always been enjoyable. Families and couples dot the field and enjoy picnics and wine. The wine is excellent and they offer a wide variety for tasting. Love the old sugar faced dog wandering around greeting everyone as well. Such a happy and friendly... More

Stopped here heading home from Branson. The owner was very friendly and gave us a wide sampling of wine along with descriptions. There was outdoor space for picnicking. The wine selection was very good and we bought two bottles.

The proprietor makes a variety of fruit wines as well as Missouri Norton and Chambourcin on-site. The winery is not "touristy"--modern barn-like building, modern equipment, etc. There is a grassy picnic area with several picnic tables. You can bring your own picnic food and buy a bottle or two of wine from them (they will lend you glasses if you... More

We happened upon this winery by chance. It has an interesting assortment of wines made from various fruits, such as tomato, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry and grape. The also have mead made from local honey. The owner poured several wines for tasting and told about the process of making them. These are not fine wines but this is something different to... More

First visit en route back to KC from Pensacola. This winery specializes in fruit wines, and they have several to taste. There are also wines made from grapes common in Missouri. Well worth the stop!

I have had better wine from Wal-Mart. The guy was nice enough but the wine tasted like dirty nail polish remover. I bought a bottle just to get out of there. Also the picnic area was not set up...not that I would have stayed around long enough to eat.

Most wineries tell you a bit about their wines without much depth to the conversation. It was a great experience to be served by the wine maker himself, giving some insight into how wine is made and what makes his wines different. The atmosphere was great, we sat around and had lunch while sharing a bottle of wine, and the... More

This was a very nice Winery to visit. They were having an American Folk Music Festival that day so it was great. They have a wide variety of wine to taste and purchase as well as beer and cheese. I would definetly recommend this place for an enjoyable picnic lunch and bottle of local wine!

We stopped here while driving through Springfield. It was a pleasant few hours, tasting the wine and buying a couple of bottles along with some cheese and crackers, and sitting in the outdoor area. The owner was knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. There was a large variety of wines to taste and buy.
