My wife and I moved to Chile 6 months ago and we love to hike. At first I was super excited to see this park because many Chileans told us we needed to go here but after looking at reviews I noticed that many people said it was a waste of time, don't go here. We finally got out to the park yesterday and this is our take.
If you are just going to the park to visit the five tazas (2 tazas were destroyed in the 2010 earthquake) then I would just look at the pictures and head over to Reserva Altos del Lircay instead. There is so much more to do in this park than just those tazas though including amazing hikes around the mountains that surround you. We saw many people backpacking and there are amazing pictures of people camping on the tops of mountains from this park.
Overall I would recommend this park because the tazas are beautiful and there are tons of other places inside of this park to explore. Follow me on instagram for more pictures of this park and others so that you know what your getting yourself into @mtbikeexpert

First warning , don't believe Waze or Googlemaps on the drive.
Waze said 45 minutes from our Curico Apart Hotel, was 90.
The drive is fine but the last 5-10 miles could be a bit scary for city folks not used to washboard gravel roads and dodging boulders sticking up out of the road bed. If you are afraid of the drive or the potential damage to your vehicle there is bus service all the day.
But if you are going to go, plan to arrive in the morning rather early, it start getting rather crowded and congested by 1:00 PM.
The teacups are an amazing sight!
The walkways are rustic, dusty and in places a bit dangerous.
We took the extra walk down to experience the river personally. Was the highlight of our visit. Beautiful gorge, cold water cascading over the rocks. Was a very relaxing place.
Others went to swim at the base of the falls, it looked wonderful but we had our two handicapped daughters with us who did their best just to get where we went and couldn't go on. It is a bit rough getting to the base of the falls but looked like an amazing place.
Bathrooms and food items for purchase available by the parking area, but nowhere else.
Not for the faint at heart. The paths can be difficult to manage.
And leave your pretty pink running shoes behind, anything you wear below knee level will be coated with a layer of dirt in seconds.
Highly recommended!

The park is located in a valley covered with endemic nothofagus trees within the Andes Mountains. It has a gorgeous clear water river that carving the bedrock for centuries, has created unique waterfalls.
From Parque Inglés I hiked the Malacara trek one day and the next day I rented a horse to reach the Bolsón Peak. Both activities were spectacular.
I strongly recommend this park for families, solo travelers, mountaineers, birdwatchers, and anybody who appreciate pristine nature. It is an excellent option to meet Chile's wonderful nature going not far from Santiago.

Avoid this park and don't waste any time in Talca! While this place shows photos on their website of '7 Cups' of water, there are only 5 now and the water level is quite low so the waterfalls between the cups are sometimes non-existant. From the viewpoint platform you can only see a couple of the cups, the ones with little to no water flowing and the experience is not worth the time or effort. We were told to go from Talca to Molina, then change for a bus to Parque Ingles and that it would take 1.5 hrs each way. Not true! It took us 4 hours to get to the park from Talca and 4 hours back. The drive was horrible, and the park itself was a disgusting, dirty, tourist trap filled with tons of campers pitching tents everywhere. They come to camp for days and its understood why - this place is NOT for a daytrip! Moreover, there are no animals on the limited trails you can do and the park is mostly a giant dust bowl. We saw people driving their cars through bushes and around the trails, making it even harder to avoid the sand and dust and destroying the environment. The fee ($8 USD per person) for what you get is outrageous and our most common views were of trash and tacky neon Christmas-light covered stalls blasting pop music and selling overpriced drinks, not nature. We were told when we bought our bus ticket into the park that we could get a bus out of the park at 5, 6, or 7 pm in order to catch the last bus from Molina at 9 pm but no buses ever came at those times! We ending up having to hitch out of the park in order to catch our bus in time which was pretty stressful. Also, there is absolutely nothing to do in Talca (everything, including Museum OHiggins is closed due to earthquake damage) so you can feel glad to skip the whole area for now!

Locals told us this is a ," must see". The falls are beautiful, gorgeous clear water in an amazing narrow gorge.
The negatives almost outweigh these positives:
- the access road is horrendous with large chunks of crushed rock, protruding boulders and clouds of dust thrown up everywhere.
- Not sure how Chile manages a national park, but signage was poor, bathrooms almost non-existent, and there was a litter of privately run cabins which made it look almost slummy. And that was on a weekday out of season. I think it would be awful with lots more people in the park.
- We saw no wildlife apart from chickens and dogs.
,- We were each supposed to pay 5000 pesos as non,-chilenos and were prepared to walk away, then another area let us in for the Chilean seniors price of 1500 pesos which made it OK. It would have been very disappointing at the higher price.
I would not recommend this destination.

It is easy to go There on a mini bus (rural bus station really close to the center) from curico. You need to go from curico to molina - and catch bus from molina to siete tazas.
(Ask the bus driver They Will help you)
There are Few campsites ( parque ingles) and the walks around and in The park are Worth it.
The landscape is so beautiful

This park not only offers an escape from the hectic city life but also offers breathtaking natural wonders; waterfalls, footpahs, rivers, forests, unique flora and fauna, etc.

The road to get into this park is a long, rough dirt road. We entered in a small car but would definitely recommend something bigger and preferably a 4x4. We did tent camping in a campground called Las Vertientes at the very end of the road. The campsite overlooked the gorge and river and we slept to the sound of waterfalls. From there it was a long, but manageable, walk to the Siete Tazas, Salto la Leona, and Salto Velo de la Novia. The water is cold and crystal clear. Swimming is permitted in many areas. Very enjoyable experience.
For our visit the campground cost 3000CLP (approx $6USD) per person per night. Cold showers were included, hot showers available for 1000CLP. Firewood available for 200CLP per piece. No electricity or cell phone signals. Potable water free and easily accessible. Cabins were also available, for those not into tent camping.
The enterance fee for 7 Tazas was 4000CLP for foreigners and 2000CLP for Chileans. As foreigners with Chilean residency they charged us the 2000CLP.
I would recommend at least one full day.
For our visit the campground cost 3000CLP (approx $6USD) per person per night. Cold showers were included, hot showers available for 1000CLP. Firewood available for 200CLP per piece. No electricity or cell phone signals. Potable water free and easily accessible. Cabins were also available, for those not into tent camping.
The enterance fee for 7 Tazas was 4000CLP for foreigners and 2000CLP for Chileans. As foreigners with Chilean residency they charged us the 2000CLP.
I would recommend at least one full day.

Get ready to drive 27km on a dirt road which definitely requires a 4x4 car. The park is very nice and there are few easy hikes to get to the best view of the falls. The magic of this place is sleeping at the “Valle de las Catas Camping” in a cabana with a breathtaking view: very romantic!

The area around the falls is easy to access with great views. More demanding hike on the Chiquillana Trail from Parque Ingles was excellent. To get up into the snowcapped higher peaks, plan on 3 days with camping required to make it all the way up and down.

Hola quisiera saber si el camino a las 7 tazas, tiene muchas pendientes o barrancos, ya que deseo llevar a mi madre, quien sufre crisis de pánico, en lugares como los que indico. Para que se hagan una idea, no puedo llevarla al Cajón del Maipo. No me complica tanto si es camino es pavimentado o no, pero si si tiene muchas pendientes o barrancos. Agradezco sus comentarios

Hola quiero conocer las 7 tazas, pero quiero llevar a mi madre, quien le tiene pánico a los caminos con barrancos y subidas pronunciadas, solo para que se hagan una idea acá en Santiago no puedo llevarla al Cajón del Maipo. Me ayudaran muchos sus comentarios. Tengo una Suv, alta, por eso no me hago problema, pero si el camino tiene mucha pendiente o barrancos definitivamente no puedo llevarla puede darle una crisis de pánico.

Yo fui en julio, esta pavimentado casi hasta la reserva entrando por Molina. Lindo paseo, senderos en buenas condiciones.

Como estan las 7 tazas ahora, quiero llegar al parque inglés y llegar al bolsón pero mi pregunta es como estan por ahí?? Hay agua? Esta lleno? Quiero ir la próxima semana.

Está pavimentado solo la mitad del camino. El resto es de tierra, con mucho polvo y en mal estado. No recomendaría ir en un sedán o citycar
