About
The Holladay Experience offers the unique opportunity to explore 160 years of history and witness Real Missouri Bourbon being made. You’ll peer into the limestone spring first discovered by Lewis and Clark in 1804. You’ll step inside the stillhouse that dates back to the mid-1800s when Ben Holladay first started using limestone water to make bourbon. You’ll walk among the aging barrels that are stacked in our bonded warehouses and take a peek into the world-class bottling facility where numerous distillery brands get bottled and labeled. Most importantly, you will see, smell, taste, and touch Real Missouri Bourbon being made using the original recipe from 160 years ago. This is more than just a distillery tour. Tours last approximately 90 minutes, including a Bourbon tasting.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a great day! Maleah was terrific showing us around and telling us about the history of the distillery. Kyle was amazing as we toured the aging barn, tried different bourbon barrel proofs, learned about the chemistry behind different recipes, tried new product samples, and otherwise observed the bourbon making process from A to Z. A beautiful location in Weston operated by super-friendly folks with a fascinating history. Well worth a visit to tour, taste and learn something new. Highly recommend!

We did the 10am tour this morning and Alyson was our guide. Extremely knowledgeable and fun. Knows the history of the distillery as well as quite a bit about how their products are made from start to finish. Bourbon wasn't available to sample until next summer but we enjoyed the tour and tasting nonetheless. Will recommend and return next year to taste the new bourbon.

The distillery tour was very very informative, and Allison made it more fun with her charm and wit. Can't wait to take the night tour.

Avery was our tour guide yesterday and she did an excellent job of describing the history of the distillery, the process for making bourbon and answering questions. The tour was a good length and the tasting afterwards was a nice end to the visit.

This goes down as the BEST tour Ive ever experienced ! Again... Ahhh...The History ! After the tour Alec took us to try 3 shots of our choice. I couldve stayed there all day ! Highly Recommended !

The place sits on a beautiful piece of land on your way into Weston to look out onto while sipping on their concoctions.
We tried the butterscotch bourbon and Irish cream. We bought a bottle of the cream as it is delicious. Much better than Bailey’s.
