Returning from a ski holiday I was very stiff and aching. Booked a body massage to take away all the knots and it did. It was sublime. All the stiffness has disappeared and I must thank Brody for her expertise and touch for a superb experience.

I’m sad to be leaving a bad review of Leaf. I have been a few times over the years and always enjoyed it but I don’t think I’ll return after my last visit.
I booked a spa package online and was supposed to get a confirmation email, which didn’t arrive. I received a call asking if I could attend the appointment they had booked and I said I’m not sure how i was supposed to know they had booked me in. It turns out I hadn’t received the email they sent, checked my email address was correct, checked my junk, but still no email. Anyway the lady on the phone said it was booked for half 1. Perfect.
I turned up at half 1 and the lady behind the desk left me for a few minutes and then came back and told me I should have been there for 12:30 as lunch was included in the package. I’m not sure how I was meant to have known this(I assume it was in the email), but the tone I was spoken to in didn’t sit very well with me. She said did I want anything after but I declined, it didn’t seem like yes was an option honestly and they did have my phone number. I’m not sure why I wasn’t called when I didn’t show up at 12:30?
The treatments were so so. I had a facial which I enjoyed. Afterwards I was abandoned so plodded around until a lovely therapist told me where the relaxation room was. When I was done I headed downstairs and asked the lady behind the desk if
It was okay for me to get changed, she motioned towards the changing room and said yes I think it’s free leaving me to double check there was no one in there.
After a few days I’m still not sure what I paid £130 for. It’s a shame to leave this review

I fully understand your frustration Erin as your spa package started off on the wrong foot. To coin a phrase, I think “recollections may vary”. You made an online booking requesting a spa package. We replied by email within the hour offering the day you wanted with lunch at 12.30 and your treatments starting at 1.30. As we received no reply, we telephoned 2 days later to see if you wanted to confirm the booking. You said you had not received our email so we explained the timings over the phone and you confirmed that was acceptable. We also checked your email address with you. We immediately followed up by email and again asked if you had any dietary requirements or allergies. We had no reply. Finally, our booking system sent an automated reminder of your appointment time 48 hours in advance. We had no error messages to indicate that any of the 3 emails we sent were undelivered. When you didn’t show at 12.30 for lunch, we telephoned at 12.45. The call was not answered. Three emails, a telephone conversation and another unanswered call is not usually considered poor comminication.
When you finally arrived at 1.30 we immediately offered to serve a late lunch after your treatments. This was sincerely offered. It was no problem for us to serve lunch at 3.30 instead of 12.30. You declined.
You then say you were abandoned at the end of your treatment. The “very nice therapist” you refer to was actually the therapist who carried out your treatments. Far from abandoning you, she brought you a glass of water, said to take your time getting off the couch and she would wait for you in reception, a few steps from the treatment room. She then took you upstairs to our relaxation room and brought in a hot drink on a tray.
Our team was very disappointed by your review. As you say, you have been to us in the past so you know the level of service we provide. Surely far better to have spoken to us directly? On a positive, I was very pleased to hear you enjoyed your facial.

I’ve always been a wimp when it comes to waxing however I did some research & Leaf Lifestyle & Beauty had great reviews so thought I would give it a shot.
I have had two bikini waxes here so far - one in August and the most recent in December 2020. I can’t express enough what a great experience both worth, particularly the second time. The lady who did my wax in December was so lovely, took her time and made me feel at ease throughout. I can’t recall her name unfortunately but I would estimate late 20s with brunette hair - a really lovely girl.
The results have lasted ages - I can’t wait until Leaf are able to reopen so I can go again! Highly recommend!! Great service and great results!

Just had wonderful back neck and shoulder massage with Kate a truly wonderful experience would recommend if you have back problems as I do. Got my husband to do a Voucher for Christmas so will be back in the new year for more. Thank you Kate x

I’ve attended this spa for quiet a while for Waxing however due to personal circumstances the last 12 months I’ve been unable to attend, that was until I was gifted a voucher, I booked the Espa Golden Glow Body Wrap. Wow what a treat, my skin feels amazing which suffers during the winter months, the girls were all as friendly as ever and I literally feel like 12 months of stress and anxiety have been taken away. I feel like a new person and loved it.
Thank you so much for always being amazing but especially this time it really made it perfect.

Another visit for a de stress package with a friend. As always, a warm welcome and fantastic treatments in a very relaxing setting. Lunch was very tasty and beautifully presented. Faultless all round experience. Wish you were closer to home ! Thanks again. Hope to come back soon.
