This was a fairly short and easy hike with not too many ups and downs. Good walkable trail. It's accessible and the parking lot is plenty large. We didn't see any ousels, but that doesn't mean they aren't there.

This trail is under 1 mile and you end up at a spectacular waterfall with swimming hole. Trail is easy with a few ups and downs. Trail head is right outside of Big Sky. Easy enough for young children.

We really enjoyed this hike. It wasn't strenuous, not too crowded either. A great little waterfall at the end.

Excellent trail for novice hiker still getting used to altitude! Very enjoyable and fun rock finds too! Wish we brought snacks to stay longer!

Beautiful hike to falls. The water was flowing and spraying with intense purpose. A must see if you are in the area@

Ousel Falls was well worth the hike! Very simple starter hike and the falls were great! Got more crowded with people as the day went on but not terrible

This hike is only about 1 mile and the trail is gravel and very easy to traverse. Views along the way are good and the water fall is wonderful. Easy for all levels.

Yes there are bears! Whoever said there weren't is....nuts! Of course they hibernate during the winter, but don't hike ANYWHERE around Big Sky without bear spray. Be sure it's current, ready to fire (out of the package... More

Plenty of parking on the paved lot at the head of the trail. Prize of a grand view of the falls 8/10 of a mile away. Oh yeah, there is toilet in the lot too. Incredibly maintained and well marked trail that switchbacks... More
