We visited the park on an off day from skiing. We snow shoed the trail, but on this day, they weren’t needed because the path was well packed down by all of the previous hikers. It was quite serene, with snow gently falling and the scenery was beautiful. The park was easy to get to, the hike not too long and not too strenuous for this 60+ year old.

This is a lovely trail where you can see a waterfall after a short hike. The trail is cool and shady in the summer, but it is sometimes on the cold side because of that shade. Also, the trail sometimes gets icy because of the cold and the fact that it is a very popular trail. It can be crowded. In the Fall be very careful because bears are active in the area.
