The "rims" are visible from almost every location in billings and driving up on top provides an unparalleled view of the city. Go at night and see the lights for an awesome thrifty evening outdoors with your special someone.

The Rims are an amazing natural feature. We visit Billings often and I love the view of the Rimrocks at the edge of the city.

I would not go out of my way to see the rimrocks when in Montana. There are so many memorable rock formations and such incredible scenic views in Montana, I think they just wanted an attraction.

Amazing view...Montana is such a beautiful state. After enjoying the vista, we drove through some of the neighborhoods at the bottom of the Rimrocks. The residents probably don't appreciate the tourism, but wow!....Some of the homes are awesome!

You drive to a parking lot and then walk. You are already at the top. It's not a hike up to the top

If you put Billings Logan Airport in your navigation system, that should get you there. Access to the Rimrock trail is just east of the airport.
