The Rims as they are called by locals run along the north edge of Billings and separate Billings from Billings Heights. There are trails along the Rims and parks as well. When further west by Zimmerman Park, there can be rattlesnakes so use common sense. Great place to watch thunderstorms from .

Great walking trails if dogs picked up after and a scenic view of several mountain ranges: Beartooths, Pryors and Little Wolfs I think.

This is a very pretty view and is really something at night with all the lights. Other than the view there isn't anything special .

This is Montana's only real zoo, most of the animals that come to this location cannot be released back into the wild which makes this a very unique zoo. The animals are beautiful and the zoo takes a great deal of time building natural environments for the animals.

The road near the airport has easy parking and great views over the city and valley below. Pity there was so much rubbish lying around despite the bins provided.

Plenty of places to pull over for photos! Nice road to take to get to the airport and see some scenery. Overlooks downtown Billings.
