We stopped at the quilt store in downtown Bozeman before we went to Yellowstone. Although Montana is a big state without a lot of people, if you want traffic, you can come here. But as a small town with a small-town flavor, you can come here.

My wife and I walked and window shopped most of Main Street and were impressed with its variety and attractiveness. We found comfortable hiking shoes that fit my big feet at one of the shops while being treated cordially and courteously in a no-rush atmosphere. I felt that the person who was fitting me was genuinely interested in my comfort... More

Trendy upscale shops, eateries, micro brews, etc. Maybe a little on the steep side of pricing, but still tasty treats abound. The cider house rocks.

Compact, diverse, and lots of places to eat and drink with an authentic western vibe. The presence of Montana State students is great too.

Unlike so many downtowns that have died because of Walmart or Sam's, obviously care and thought was used here to preserve the old downtown. A great mix of retail, galleries and restaurants make for an interesting several blocks to roam through. Take your time and enjoy

Walked early Saturday morning before stores opened. So many great, local places. Came back in the afternoon but still ran out of time. Want to live here! Many nice coffee shops and tons of great shops.

Quaint shops with some of the nicest people I've ever met working at them! Ended up at Rockin' R Bar, which was a lot of fun as well! Walk over to the university as well - a very pretty walk...

A stroll down Main Street will keep anyone busy with opportunities for fine and casual dining, coffee shops with a variety of espresso specialities, and a branch of the Bozeman Co-op for healthy on site of take way eating. This hip university and Yellowstone gateway city is a shoppers' paradise for clothing, household goods, furnishings, sport and recreational needs and... More
